Not too much to talk about

People do in Suda threads sometimes, but Suda threads are rare. In my opinion it's his most enjoyable beat em up game, and definitely the most mechanically sound one. I think the guns are kind of half-assed, though.

All Suda 51 games have janky gameplay and are complete style over substance. Eat shit.

eh it was alright. i enjoyed the beginning but it got pretty repetitive. felt "weird for the sake of weird" compared to like killer7 which felt like the weirdness filled a greater purpose

nice job reading my thoughts OP i just started downloading this game right now. fuck you and the fbi and cia. LEAVE MY MIND ALONE ITS MINE NOT YOURS

because it was a mindless button masher with less depth than fucking Lollipop Chainsaw

We have. Everything there is to say has been said. What else is there to say?

Because it's pretty meh.

>adjusts glasses
ahem

There will be more talk when NMH3 comes out

I tried to play it, but I bought it on PC and the game runs like absolute dog shit, and doesn't run proper. Wish I played on Console, because I'm always in a cycle of trying to get it to run then quitting because this shit is real fuckin' gay.

It was fine, but everyone that wants to play it has played it, the dissections have been made.
I'm still amazed that going for the AAA ranks is a much shallower game than just playing regularly. Least it's no Lollipop Chainsaw that depends on the whims of time and space over whether or not you'll be punching those zombies into the right formations for a chopping.
Whoever decided to make you sit through 15 seconds worth of cutscenes between challenge attempts needed a punch in the gut.

That's odd, I didn't have issues with my piece of shit toaster.

I forget what the issue is but some people have the same issue. There's a patch but some time after I got a new PC I found that it didn't work anymore.

The final boss fight was so fucking good it's easily one of the most memorable ones I can think of

Yeah. It's the only time I've ever lost a button mashing section in a game I think. I still need to try to beat the game without using revive tickets.

It's just not that good

I honestly think it's criminally underrated.

The final boss was great, but it's honestly the only thing I remember about the game (and I think fighting a robot while falling down a long vertical shaft, as well as a giant monster in a military base?).
It was enjoyable as I played it but didn't leave much of a lasting impression, which is kinda disappointing compared to Suda's best.

Alice in Wonderland reference, Thomas the Train Engine, Dollface McDreambitch. Tiger Chinese Guy. There weren't that many bosses.

But there's no buildup remotely as good as Afro Cult Guy or Dead Japanese Politicians from Killer7. Who really knows how much Suda had to do with it. I've heard that the last two projects he's had were Travis Strikes Again and No More Heroes, fuck-all inbetween.

I kind of want a follow-up to this game. The ending wasn't really satisfying. Also, vampire is best girl.

Damned good soundtrack. Wish all the most powerful moves weren't counters. And that I knew what the fuck happened during the ending.

AHHHHHHH OH GOD I CAN FEEL IT...
IM CUMMMMMIIINNNN

Because the PC port is unplayable

Yeah I know it's just Symph No.9 but the way the music scratched to a slowdown during perfect dodges and the setting made the entire thing great

It just felt like Suda phoning it in, just throwing in a bunch of weirdness because he knew that's what he's known for. I would have much preferred to have seen NMH1&2 and Lollipop Chainsaw ported to PC.

Almost all the stuff between TSA and NMH are in a weird era for suda where publishers wanted to capitalize on his "unusual" aspects regardless of whether or not he intended for stuff to be weird. Shadows of the damned was changed for being too weird for EA and KiD seemed to be the opposite where the publlishers wanted him to be more quirky with stuff like the gigolo missions. And then lolipop chainsaw is a much more goofy game with james gunn doing a lot of the work rather than being a suda game.

Really? Why?

He also directed Fatal Frame 4 in between. He did not direct anything after that until TSA, only acting as "creative director" (which is like a glorified producer). It shows hard.

The game is top tier everything whenever you fight David. Every moment you're not fighting David but fighting a boss, game is pretty fun. Everything else is meh. Retarded flippy-jumpy-slow-as-fucky sword swing the moment you reach max combo level is dumb as shit mechanic you can't get rid of, and every enemy being a a different colored glow stick wouldn't be so bad if you could actually see what kind of attack they're about to do and properly counter instead of being mosh pit to death by the local metal rave party

That's a shame.
Well, I'm glad that 25th Ward got saved from Mobile Hell and that he's finally getting projects again.
Maybe one day we'll get a port of Diabolical Pitch or Black Knight Sword to save it from Console Digital Distribution Only Hell.

Zig Forums is full of malice tonight.

I think people don't like it because Zig Forums prefers "deep" suda games or the ones with the shitty gameplay people pretend to enjoy.
