Most of Zig Forums chose being miserable over TLOU2 for the past two weeks. Me? I've had a comfortable, cozy time replaying one of my favorite PS2 era games on my 40" tv.

The game is objectively shit. I really tried to like it but the meh story does not make up for the shitty gameplay. Imagine complaining about movie games and then praising this trash. The pacing is complete shit. There are constantly stretches of "game" where you just sit there for hours and just spam the spacebar to continue watch movie. These thrilling cutscenes are then interrupted by hours and hours of boring combat.
There are millions of cards with "different classes" that are all the same: you spam the same shit all the time until someone is immune, then you just guard the fucker who heals with his damage. And once you reach the boss you just spam the same boring abilities with some buffs/debuffs thrown in.
It's shit and you know it. You can't even fuck the girls like in a propper game like this so what the fuck is the point?

I can think of some theoretical situation where Kanji will help out with knockdowns like if the encounter has a varied enough weakness spread that you might not be able to hit all of them, or if you whiff the electric attack. While physical is generally the safest option, there are the enemies that resist/null/repel it so there's that to consider as well.

Empress is a fusion challenge. You only need to fuse Personas to advance it. You can literally finish it in one day.
Hermit only requires you fulfill the requests. No Persona necessary.
Death doesn't need a requisite Persona. Like the Sun links in P3 and P4, you because you can only meet her once a week, it means it passes every single time to pursue it.
I can't quite recall if Jester or Aeon require a Persona, but Jester starts become semi-automatic after a certain point.

Not him, but Nanako's fate is obviously the biggest tell as to what exactly the fog and the TV world as a whole represent. Nanako dies when the party believes Namatame is the real killer, so keeping that lie keeps her dead. If you realize he's not the killer then she comes back, but if you're unable to find the truth then she's still in the hospital when you have to leave. If you find the truth and defeat Adachi, the fog of lies is gone and Nanako is able to recover completely.
It doesn't work at all if she's just in a coma or whatever.
