When will we get a true Star Trek game?

the honestly sounds pretty cool
True Star Trek Game:
>Star Trek: Borg
>Star Trek: Armada
>Star Trek: BOTF
>Star Trek: Elite Force
Any ST game made for the current generation of 'fans' would simply be a super simple mobile app for casuals. Also, micro-transactions
But the way it was executed was very poor.
bridge commander was fun, I hope they improve on that idea.
What game lets me zap spoonheads?
Mass Effect 1 is the closest game.
>When will we get a true Star Trek game?
In 1983. youtube.com
Bridge Commander comes to mind, along with a few of the strategy games and the old 2D adventure games.
That's about it. Sure, the Elite Force series was fun, but running around pew pewing everything with FPS guns didn't feel like Trek to me. I probably spent more time exploring the virtual Voyager. That said, I also drilled Neelix in the face with every weapon available whenever I saw him.
We already had the peak with Elite Force, Starfleet command, Bridge Commander and Armada.
nuTrek is so goddamn bad I don't even want them to try and make vidya based off it.
This isn't how you start a Star Trek thread on Zig Forums
>is the best sci-fi series of the last 20 years in your path
Heh, nuthin' personnel trekkies
We already have kid. This was peak kino.
>only good Star Trek game in the last decade was the VR game, and it's limited in scope
Shaka, when the walls fell.
goddamn, every time I see this scene...
From the minds who brought you DS9.
NuTrek is dogshit and the modern fan base are a bunch of Funko cucks who are only interested in “shipping.”
And receiving?
I am glad I did not waste too many hours with STO.
Also, am I the only one that cant slog it though Voyager? I watch ENT with no major issues, but everything about Voyager is boring except for the Doctor. I could not finish the first season.
It has its moments. The show gets significantly better when Kess fucks off, and after that the worst episode in the later seasons is the one where she comes back for a visit. It was still always a shitty Trek though. The reoccurring antagonist races were the worst, besides those organ harvester guys and maybe The Borg.
It has a few decent episodes and a few genuinely great ones, but the first half of Voyager is mostly just kinda crap. The later seasons are better, but by then it's less Voyager and more the Doctor and Seven Show. Which I'm completely okay with, because they're the only well-written characters in the entire series.
Voyager did manage to fuck up both Q and the Borg, though.
Dukat should've gotten his own genocide simulator.
Some of the details are wrong but it's accurate, nonetheless. The issue isn't the concept but the execution and delivery. The show is shallow and i get the feeling they were more interested in being like every successful tv show since TNG than a star trek show because at times I'm reminded of GoT, Battlestar G., with a bit of the Abrams movies thrown in for good measure. Go watch. Might as well.
With seduction DLC.
I couldn't even get passed ENT. You got further than me. I started skipping to get through the episodes faster.
>STO
Is that the original?
why are the cute ones always the crazy ones?
[spoile]i liked the Abrams movies[/spoiler]
I liked Beyond.
Is the viewer meant to empathize with the captain in this scene? Why would she have a massive smirk while firing someone? Some women just cannot play people in positions of power, just reeks of bitchiness and pettiness.
>BSG combined the philosophical themes of TNG with high production values and consistent writing
>Farscape captured the cheesy sexiness, pulp action of the original series for a modern audience
>both only lasted 4 seasons.
It's not fucking fair, early 2000s were pure kino. Shame we haven't had anything as good since.
