Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Dragon's Dogma absolutely shit on Skyrim when it comes to combat magic

I like Code Vein's magic a lot, but it's not as flashy as Dragon's Dogma.

Pic made me laugh, thanks user.
Mods shouldn't be counted for obvious reasons.
magicka - original, fun, flexible magic system. Best played with friends.
9 parchments is similar to magicka, but I enjoyed magicka more.
Dragons dogma - high scale magic, makes you feel powerful, very fun, but gets repetitive.
Modded minecraft
Dark Messiah is pretty fun
Dragon's Dogma definitely lets you do some funky stuff, but it's at its best when you have other spellcasters with you.
Are there any truly great mods for the magic system in Skyrim? I've never played it
Arx Fatalis
arx fatalis for casting systems
age of wonders for effects
DD magic may look sick but it's god damn boring to play.
Magicka
If Avatar:TLA had a decent videigame it'd be that one
With legit mods a pure mage build works really well and is probably the most fun mixed in with stealthy stuff.
those are some high iq pawns
There are quite a few that completely rework the magic system and some that even rework the game around spellcasting. Theres a fuckton of mods that just add spells if you don't mind the vanilla system. It's a shame skyrim modding is only known for its coomer denizens.
In DD Warrior walked, so that the Mage could run
What game has the most FUN magic systems?
Being able to push stuff around, apply magical properties to things, slow down time, all that kind of thing.
Or just help me find a game that is like Psi-Ops. please
Morrowind
In vanilla you cant even make your own cstuom spells.
>You can mod that in.
No.
Better, its breakable but to many stat caps.
Unironically this
No other game has the customization that PoE does, even if it's jank as all fuck.
Honorable mention for having magic that FEELS good to use.
Dishonored comes to mind
The abilities you get are a blast and a joy to use
Thanks, I didn't know if you people/the op had specific suggestions for mods/reworks
Might and Magic 6-11
Is Blade & Sorcery good if I want to feel like a wizard in my bedroom waving my hands around and shit?
Theres always discussions about playing wizards and sorcerers in video games
How about, which games have the best cleric gameplay and/or divine magic?
Murdering shit as cleric in Neverwinter Nights is pretty fun
Dark souls 2's unnerfed faith builds were incredibly fun
just demolish everything in the game with lightning easily
Dominions 5
Dragons Dogma magic is shit. It's flashy, but it's the same old wait for a cast bar to fill shit that mmos use.
morrowind
