I played it for a few dozen hours. What would be the point of giving her some kind of sidestep move when everybody in the game can dodge roll, air dodge, and spot dodge? Smash also already has a parry you activate by dropping your shield in response to a blocked attack, and charging attacks. Her moveset was also demonstrated in full when she was announced, so I'm not sure how you could be outraged over it being exactly what they said it would be.

She's so boring to fight. Literally just jump over her arms and punish, repeat until she dies or timeout because her incredibly poor moveset forces her to be campy as all fuck. Glad I didn't buy the second fighter pass, I cannot imagine how boring she must be to play.

Charge mechanic is built into her grab. Dash doesn't need to be built in that way as directional air dodge and dash before running both function the same. The insta-counter isn't an actual attack. The only way you'd be able to implement that was by allowing Min Min to dash out of parry, which wouldn't be useful due to how Ultimate works.
She shuts down zoners, you're unironically just bad.

I think people are just disappointed with first party fighters after we got Simon, Joker, Gohan and Trunks, and Banjo. People are craving the exciting never evers again even though we've gotten almost all of then now, including Ridley and K. Rool with Snake making a left field comeback after Kojima left.

Christ, at this point it's better to hope for ports to Brawl/PM. Smash Ultimate's hacking scene is fucking dismal and has gone almost nowhere. Combination of replacement filesize limits, inability to add new assets on top of cart/replaced assets, and a community generally content to just make meme model retextures/imports. Most exciting thing I've seen recently is someone working on a skin for Cloud that makes him closer to his FF7R design.
