What's the issue? It looks better than original, they just didn't update the textures. The engine and lighting overhaul is the selling point. Hopefully texture mods from original will work with this one.

I replayed it recently and does not look much better, at least now it will use more than 1 Core hopefully so the flight mission should run better

Like real life you mean? Also the original has absolutely garbage CPU support and runs on a single core/two threads at most, so the fact this runs on multicore makes it immediately better by default. The lighting is also a massive improvement since original used forward rendering, this is deferred rendering.
Not that I'd expect tech illiterate RedditLetterMedia retard to understand this though.
Shit sucks that they didn't update the textures though.

STALKER looks amazing to this day considering its age and the deferred renderers in it look objectively much better than the static forward ones (you can select static DX9 renderer in options in case you didn't know faggot).

It's a remaster (not a remake) of a 2007 game, what did you expect? It's just the unmodded original 2007 Crysis, but running on latest CryEngine so it has better lighting and proper multicore support. That's pretty much it.

Bruh the only thing deferred lighting buys you is that a scene can have an unlimited number of light sources (even then they lose the advantage if they cast dynamic shadows). Plus there is a buttload of numerical issues with frame buffers since you are rendering to a texture

Good old Crysis 2 leak times

Multiple light sources give you the advantage of a much better lit scene with more realistic lighting, did you even take a single look at original Crysis (or STALKER running on the static option) and how fucking flat the lighting is in comparison? Are genuinely retarded or just pretending?

e_view_dist_ratio = 128
e_view_dist_ratio_detail = 64
e_view_dist_ratio_vegetation = 64
These are basically double of the vanilla max settings.
You can also use e_lods = 0 to completely disable LODs.

So this is the power.. of putting the remaster on the Switch
