There is a reason why they ported Persona 4 Golden first.

This alone showed that Atlus is taking the PC seriously. In fact normally Atlus Japan does shit on PC and everything gets outsourced to Sega Europe. Seeing the "official" creator of Persona from Japan behind the PC port is the most amazing thing that could have happen.

The whole port done by Atlus Japan is so insane that even SMT 5 could be exclusive on PC. Now that Atlus Japan is officially porting to PC we will see some real shit. Especially because Atlus Japan (and Atlus West) even had to call this P4G release a success. If you don't know, Atlus is VERY shy about using such words like success for their games. In fact P5R was never called a success.

you are the master of your own destiny, thusly all of the other characters are too. their lives aren't so intrinsically focused and absorbed into yours alone, as you aren't to theirs. the whole game deals with self and identity, and accepting who you are and all the shit that comes along with that. so this works in the ludo-narrative(I know this shit always comes off pretentious) through battling, letting your party explore areas on their own, and witnessing them living out their lives throughout the game(this is a bit of a stretch since it adds up to just seeing them in the halls of school or at the dorm, but it fits). so why should you be able to have full control of them? they're their own people, with their own choices

The Answer really isn't that awful. The worst qualms I have with it just come from being forced to grind or get lucky or use save states to get through a lot of bosses. With proper use of tactics, it's not the worst thing I've ever experienced in an RPG. Not by a longshot

Should have specified that I'm in England, where I'm guessing it's much rarer. There's a second hand store that will buy it for almost £60. When I search for the game on eBay I literally can't find anything other than imports from Japan.
