What makes XIV great imho is that it's crammed to the the max with references and fanservice, yet is still a fully functional, coherent, and fantastic universe with enough unique lore to set it apart and have its own identity.

It's incredibly difficult to pull off, but they managed to do it. For that they have my respect.

Bismarck, Ravana, Susano, Lakshmi, Tsukuyomi, Titania and Innocence aren't technically primals but essentially fill the same role, same with Hades.

As someone who has never played a FF game before 14 it's all been new to me and I've enjoyed it greatly.

My friends are FF fans and know all the references and shit and love it to.

I'm saying the first five are primals, the three after are essentially primals in all but name. The same could go for the four lords but they were kind of used, since they're NMs in XI.

The game actually has staggering amount of content to go through as a new player. It's just that homos you see in the general complaining they have nothing to do have 1-2k hours in the game, possibly even more.
