Does Guild Wars 2 still have an active development team? That game didn't get content in a decade.

yes, pic related is their lead designer
she falsely accused nolan bushnell of rape and had a mental breakdown when several e-celebs who were accused of rape this past week posted proof that they were falsely accused
one the saddest thing in life is letting go of your favourite franchises when incompetent people take over
This game was dead to me when I loaded it up and saw they abandoned the first game's skill system.
if you want shitty predicatble story every 3-4 months and gem store items I suppose it does
christ, thank god i ditched the game in time
So instead of trying to prove that the proof is false she just whines over the fact that they had proof? Hmmm.
yeah, i played that game with gw2 and we both totally got tired of the stories, because they felt half-assed and just like a burden to finish. it wasn't exciting at all. for some reason mmorpg devs can't story tell.
and god damn that game has annoying enemies. nothing more frustrating than walking through an area and getting knocked down every 10 seconds by some hyper aggressive monster.
>yeah, i played that game with gw2
>with gw2
lmao *with my girlfriend
and my girlfriend isn't even the type of gamer who complains about stuff like that, and even she found that annoying
never had a problem with monsters most of the time, but in some areas they have fuckhuge aggro range
I still have it installed, but after the last story I am really considering deleting it and never looking back
I don't belive it can be salvaged, not even by the chinky expac if it ever comes out
hunting these fucking dragons is getting boring and stale
it does get content, in the form of living world story episodes, which includes story instances and new maps. It's not big content, but better than nothing, and it adds up over the months.
>but better than nothing
now let's not get ahead of ourselves
They really didn't need to set up six dragons to fight. I don't know why they thought that'd be a good idea.
Are fractals and raids dropped by Anet? Not keeping up with this game's development anymore.
>still
it aint had a development team since before the first """expansion"""
>That game didn't get content in a decade.
It has new content like every 3 months, entire new maps and a slowly advancing story until the Cantha expansion which should not be far away now.
the game was dropped by Anet because there's nothing to do, once you hit 80 and buy an orange weapon for 20 silver you're a maxed out character.
the only good part of gw2 is the asura porn
>NOOOOOOOO, WHY WON'T PEOPLE BLINDLY BELIEVE MY BASELESS ACCUSATIONS
>until the Cantha expansion which should not be far away now.
user...
there will be 3rd expansion (pic related), and there is this living world season 5 thing called Icebrood Saga, with new episode every 2-3 months, on top of that events are still running and there is balance patch in the works and usually minor patch every two weeks, so i dont know what you mean by decade exactly..
Man Arenanet is a perfect example of why not to let the diversity in. A game studio actually murdered by feminist intrusion.
even if that's the case, what will it change?
a few new mounts, a longer story that's probably just as bad as the living stories, some low effort armor and weapon sets
there's no escape
i gave them 15+ years of my adult life.
dropped them as soon as they started the complete fag pandering shit that gw2 is.
you forgot new currency to farm.
shit is a mobile game.
>new currency to farm
yeah my bad
last good thing they have done in my opinion is hiding the griffon mount and making us explore for it, but that's too little too late
we dont know for sure yet, mounts were big surprise as was raids, so they maybe have something, r-right?
I'll never understand wanting diverse workers as opposed to good workers. Unless you're like, mcdonalds or something where quality doesn't matter.
What a fucking lunatic..
the only good thing that can come out of the cantha expansion, is the world itself
i've always loved cantha and each of its regions so i hope they don't fuck it up. each region also has lots of potential with how you interact/explore the world
shing jea island could be your classic, comfy island without anything special going on.
kaineng city could be like this huge, vertical maze filled with jumping puzzles and stuff. think labyrinthine cliffs but for a whole region instead
echovald forest could also include lots of verticality with huuge trees and shit
jade sea could be this vast open terrain, but also have lots of underwater content for the areas where the jade sea has "melted"
sure, if they have enough people working on it
after grothmar valley I can't say I liked any of the new season areas
thought the newest one will be some cool vietnam type of thing but it's really lackluster
On the contrary, Guild Wars 2 has a ton of fucking content these days, I still play it and you can get a group to do any of the content around easily.
Plus since the gear progression is horizontal over vertical, all content is always relevant
anyone who may have have the talent to bring the expansion to life, is gone. there may be a few holdouts left that might possibly know how to code their severely outdated game engine but i really don't know.
I am a casual player who's not very skilled. PvE (main story) content is the hardest pve main story content I have ever experienced in a fucking mmo game. Mobs literally one shoot you, bosses one shoot you. Everything happens so fast it's fucking stupid. I can't remember the amount of times I died to Palawa Joko boss fight or Balthazar.
Why is this game so fucking solo unfriendly? Zones are bullshit to navigate sometimes, enemies are mega bullshit.
git gud at making builds
