lol no.

>So are they finally going to fix it now?
Nope.

What the fuck is your problem? They apologized. Get over it, loser. They've already done more than enough.

>yeah, sorry...

mario if he real

inb4 THEY SAID THEY'RE SORRY, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO FIX YOU DONT UNDERSTAND

mario if he real

why did joycon drift happen in the first place? nintendo stuff used to be built to last even against the most clumsy of kid abuse, now it feels like cheap plastic shit

When will they apologize for no headphone support without the use of a fuckign phone app?
When will they apologize for the Switch having a wifi range of an electified potato?
When will they apologize for the shitty homescreen that removes features that even the DS had?
When will they apologize for shipping with a battery life that shouldnt evne pass the first of many QA tests?

>When will they apologize for the Switch having a wifi range of an electified potato?

seriously my phone has better wifi range than this thing, it took a solid minute to catch a signal that was only 1 floor under me, granted I am in a shitty hotel but still

I used to think the bitching was exaggerated, but analog stick drifting is actually the worst thing ever.
My ps4 left analog is drifting up pretty bad and it's making me lose my mind. I can't even pick an option off a menu list anymore.

And one of the screws in the back is fucked so I can't even open the controller and try to fix it.

this is what happens when they don't sell at a loss

I haven't had drift yet, but I will say that the Switch "d-pad" is garbage and the joycon triggers/bumpers feel fragile.

Uh bros, should we keep pretending that there's no drift issue now?

My launch wii still had no problems

Fixing it isnt that hard but you gotta deal with that screw.

You also have to disassemble it completely to get under the analog stick. There's some blue things on the left stick(because its the left stick that drifts right) you have to carefully bend down and then clean the insides between the white circles and blue casings.

Fixed my drifting easily.

>tfw pro controller stick started drifting
>they would charge 40 or 50 dollars to have it fixed outside of warranty
>it's a limited edition Xenoblade controller
I want to die
I don't know what to do
I just want to fucking play video games

Thanks Nintendo, my joy con do not drift anymore

I'm guessing it was a choice between cheaping out on materials, stuffing it with tons of useless features as usual or making the price even more ridiculously high. And they picked the first option and hoped for the best.

Just mod it and fix the issue yourself.

We're sorry...

i don't remember the exact details, but they used some sort of material that falls apart the more you use the joystick which fucks with the circuits

Urushut up!

This happened to me too. I just said fuck it and bought a replacement, it seemed better than spending 3 quarters of the price and waiting 2 weeks for them to repair it. If it happens again (which it totally will) I'm going to demand they repair one of them for free or both of them for 45 bucks. This shit is too goddamn expensive for it to be as cheap and shitty as it is. It's unfortunate that you have to play up your dissatisfaction in order to get favorable results from customer service.

If you have no other choice couldn't you buy a new one and stick the shell onto it?

Fuck those assholes who tried to gaslight me by saying I was shitposting when I asked if it was a legitimate problem back when I was thinking of buying one. Worked out fine in the end anyway, a friend bought one and loaned it to me for a weekend trip where I discovered it was trash.

>still deluding yourself into thinking drift is real

>Are they finally going to fix it now?
Why would they? Their fanbase will buy it regardless, and defend them while doing so. It's a waste of money for no return if they fix it.
