OH NO NO NO NINTENDOBROS

We heard the E3 Direct was cancelled like four months ago, faggot. Why would Nintendo have told all publishers that it was not happening and to piss off if they were just going to do a not-E3 Direct a week later?
Next Direct will probably be late August or September. If we are unlucky, they might write off this year Directs wise and just save any reveals and drop 3D World, or whatever else is in Autumn/Holiday, as youtube trailers and wait till next year to have an actual Direct.

Are you so dumb in reading comprehension to understand that he's saying Nintendo Directs are working well and they will keep the format without excluding possible alternatives?

>chink flu cancels E3
>Sony and Microsoft have no problems doing their CONSOLE REVEAL events digitally.
>Nintendo can't even be bothered to throw together a small digital direct to actually talk about their Holiday games. Has bee practical radio silence of news since September last year.

They have jackshit this year outside of Paper Mario and probably that 3D Mario Collection. Great job retards, the Switch is definitely showing the benefits of cosolidating your handheld and console lines together with this absolutely stellar output of games.

Feels like there hasn't been any actual nintendo games in over a year.

What part of "If we find a better method we are ditching directs" do you not understand?
OP is also a retard for thinking they are dead for good, but Nintendo won't keep them around if they find that just making tweets every once in a while is more effective.

Nintendo is using the cancelled E3 Direct from Coronavirus as an excuse to not show anything, but they don't have fucking anything. Pretty convenient timing.

The problem is they're consolidating too much staff on a handful of games + ports.

>If

It's been a year since Mario Maker 2 came out, and since then we have gotten Astral Chain, the Link's Awakening remake, Good Job, Luigi's Mansion 3 and Fire Emblem.

Why is everyone talking about a 3D mario collection? There's zero proof that even exists, 64, Sunshine and Galaxy 1 and 2 being remastered sounds like complete bullshit.

what's the source, his ass presumably

Actions speak louder than words
>we totally are on track
>*don't do shit for half a year*
>*all their rivals pull through*
>YA WE’RE TOTALLY ON TRACK!
Give me a fucking break. Give us ONE indication you’re on track.

they probably had nothing to show for this e3 anyway

Does this mean that F-Zero is gonna be announced reall soon? Y-yes p-p-lease.

Friendly remidner that Nintendo often doesnt announce major games until they're actually short before release.
Recent reminders of this were the Xenoblade Chronicles remake that came relatively close, and Paper Mario which came even closer.

people want so badly for Mario to have something good to celebrate his 35th anniversary with consider how bad the last 25th one was.
>Mario All-Stars rom on a 4GB wii disc

Why is this a bad thing?

Astral Chain as well, it was announced like 4 or 5 months out of nowhere before release

Their rivals had jack shit too, the fuck you talking about?
Sony's event was the equivalent of MP4, Bayo 3 and SMTV. Those games revealed won't be out for over a year and more

I fail to see how this deconfirms a future Direct or randomly dropped trailer for new games.

>>*all their rivals pull through*
Their rivals were in the process of launching new flagship hardware, retard. You can be annoyed that Nintendo is lazy and does not have much this year, but comparing them to Microsoft and Sony right now is like calling an unemployed man lazy for not going to work, because his doctor brother is busy working long shifts to contain the virus.

I mean, a JRPG remake and a second stringer Mario game? Those hardly count compared to BotW2 and Metroid.

And if we’re talking about Nintendo’s history, they have been doing Directs regularly for years and E3’s for a decade.

Their rivals had product to announce and Nintendo didn’t. That’s the bottom line.

>B-but paper Mario!

That’s a stupid analogy for the second richest Japanese company.

Xekoblade chronicles:de and clubhouse games came out weeks ago.

Gee it's almost like the doom posters that have been saying directs were dead since January were fucking right.

so they're focusing on a handful of quality products instead of spreading everything thin for a bunch of lukewarm microtitles? That's a bad thing?

Releasing random videos isn’t more effective

They really think some unknown indie game having a video on their Youtube channel is going to make people know they exist. Directs are much better investment for those games.

but that is just arbitrary cherrypicking
You could just as easily complain about Microsoft and Sony's lack of announcements in January 2017 when Nintendo had the Switch press conference or the years straight of cancelled E3 and PSX from Sony. You could even just cherrypick max and complain that they have been radio silent lately unlike Nintendo, because Nintendo had the Smash presentation in the last week and we could just arbitrarily limit recent to the last week.

>its another everyone forgets that animal crossing is nintendos big release for the year thread

Translation of the investors meeting last week.

You mentioned a single month three years ago. Nintendo hasn’t had anything in close to three quarters of a year besides Animal Crossing.

How is taking the better part of a year cherry picking? Why can’t you just admit Nintendo hasn’t acclimated to the COVID event?

Can these people handle any success? The second the Switch gets to Wii levels they do fuck all and coast on legacy.

Feels like there hasn't been any actually good nintendo games in over a year*

This is news how?

>people think nintendo has no games to release from september to fucking december
you never learn. they will just announce a couple of games in september

I’m really starting to dislike this new Nintendo president. Ever since he’s been in charge things have been on a decline in terms of both news and game quantity
