10/10 frankly, the level design is insanely good. The only thing bringing it down is some aesthetic choices here and there (personally hate the artstyle for the pictures and shit and the 3d map jarred the everloving fuck outta me right out the gates, the story is also just im sad).

The devs haven't confirmed anything outright. Sure it looks like madeline is a trans woman but two flags, a photo of her with short hair, and pills in her room which we don't know why are there doesn't mean anything. She could have just had short hair. Her meds could be for depression or anxiety cause granny's death really shook her. The flags could just say she supports LGBTQ people.

Depends, if you really liked Super Meat Boy then you'll like this, although the game isn't as good as its defenders claim.
