In case they add a Golden Sun character, they would add Matt, as Dark Dawn is the last entry in the series.
Also Isaac is an assist trophy and the only fan rule that has been broken by now is spirits can't be playable characters (min min)

We've been waiting far too long for anything Golden Sun to ever be anything more than what it is now and now the game's oversaturated as fuck with jRPGs protagonists for my taste now. At this point, I'd rather something music/rhythm/song related because there is almost absolutely nothing that even dares approach that concept other than perhaps Jigglypuff which is sad as all hell and makes me realize Sakurai really is just a hack that prefers the easy way out in concerns of developing a character that fights with original concepts not yet integrated in the series.
