what did you think of this? I'm a pleb and barely play games anymore but for me it was the biggest surprise in years, I just wish the forest zone was bigger and longer, more like the Volga

bump, I wish I was here back when it was released and people were talking about it

Haven't played it but seems enticing
:)

I was expecting something more like Fallout. So I was a little disappointed desu

Tbh

I was actually happy it wasnt like fallout but I really dislike full blown open world, I enjoyed the little limited zones with very different fauna/story a lot
Caspian sea with its sand storms is the most fun I had in a game in a while

I'm glad to hear people enjoyed it, it doesn't seem to get a lot of attention
:)

sales were pretty good werent they? I remember some drama because it was on the epic shop or something

2033 and Last Light had much better atmosphere then the entirety of this barring the last level.

I understand that you think so but I feel like the whole metro setting really limits you and another game in the same metro would have been pretty repetitive, there's a lot of interesting places in a post-apocaliptic russia setting to explore and I feel like they really hit the jackpot with the volga and caspian sea
