play myst instead

depends on if you like puzzles or not. i'd recommend portal over that game though

its actually not horrible, but i'd pirate it because jonathan blow is a hack

its 30 hours of the same fucking puzzle

GOTY 2016

pretty good

>it took him 30 hours to do "the same puzzle"
wow user, you sure sound like a smart one

Really good if you are in to puzzles. The enviromental stuff was great. The "message" (in lack of a better word) is awful and pretentious, but you can totally ignore it.

Decent mobile puzzle game locked in a $30 pretentious packaging.

Play Talos Principle instead.

It's good but is still pretentious.

Figuring out the rules to the puzzles is fun.
The rest is pretentious garbage.

This.

This.

Kinda both. You can avoid audio logs, but if you want to 100% it, you'll need to watch some movies.

Is he? Why?

its a really great puzzle game, the environment art and puzzles are awesome.
the "message" is pretentious as fuck, but is so far apart from the gameplay you can actually miss the only part of the game that has dialogue and you miss out on literally 0 puzzles.

It is pretentious, absolutely, but it's hard to say it's not well-made. It clearly had effort put into it. But for me, I couldn't be bothered. The world design annoyed me a lot, the game expects you to learn its rules in order to progress but a lot of puzzles are laid out haphazardly. Needed a defter hand.

ok pseudo-intellectual

It's a good puzzle game, just a bit too many of those annoying shadow puzzles that require you to look at the table from a right angle. They're not challenging nor fun.

I actually just recently finished The Talos Principle, I am looking into The Witness because I want to find more like TTP

its pretty similar, I like them both for different reasons.

It depends. If you notice a chunk of a puzzle, looking for the right perspective can be quite fun.

honestly, both

how did you get that impression?

there's nothing pretentious about it and it's good

It's good, the background story is shit tho, ignore it.

Has that Unity-look.

How can a puzzle game be pretentious

Just about the best video game of the past ten years
