The games have it all. A bit of story, puzzles, action, exploration, minigames, towns, dark moments, bright moments, good music, unique visuals, memorable locations, etc.

That's one of the worst things they tried to do. Link and Groose had a better relationship.
But SS did plenty right as well. It has some of the best zelda elements in the series. Sure those elements are surrounded by flaws, but I still consider it far less flawed than BotW, which was only fun at the start.

I can't think of a moment in SS better than the end of ST or the beginning of BotW. It's that simple.

Zelda is a revolutionary and popular franchise in the industry. That's just a fact. Of course they will always people on Zig Forums who hated, just like they hate themselves. Are some of the Zelda games not as good? Yes. Journalists hype the franchise too much? No doubt. Shitting on Zelda games made idiots feel important? Yes. Is still one of the pillars of gaming? I never got to the end of ST and I'll agree with you for the beginning of BotW, but SS offered a more consistent experience of highs and lows than either of those two games. I can't speak for ST since I didn't see any highs, but BotW started amazing before quickly becoming a massive disappointment.
SS was a middling Zelda, but it was still a more enjoyable one than those other two in my view.
