Pretty good starting off point for a franchise. Good universe, lore, exploration, and general combat.
But enemy variety was lacking. Not enough powers either. Combat was shooting your gun until it was empty, using your powers until they drained and gun reloaded, rinse and repeat. The best missions and bosses were in missable side missions
Besides it being EGS only on PC, Jesse getting a Duke Nukem chin in-game, and the whole kerfuffle about having a women-only beta test, I’ve heard it’s pretty good, and the best SCP game we’ve had.
How many times did Payne fuck her, lads?
I enjoyed it a lot.
Another game with a forgettable setting, characters and gameplay.
It's ok, but there's nothing there to keep the player interested, i doubt most people finished the game (and no it's not hard).
IT'S PAYNE!
Pretty much, and the main character looking like a fucking fridge for her face was pretty annoying.
Different types of enemies introduced sooner in the game, better main character, and adding in more options of 'powers' would be nice.
I enjoyed it though I played it on a PS4 so the framerate went to shit a lot. Better than the trashfire that is the SCP lore nowadays.
>ood starting off point for a franchise
it's the same franchise as Alan Wake and Quantum Break
>Pretty good starting off point for a franchise
I thought it was a sequel? Wasn't it tied into the game they made prior?
almost all the promotional material for the game has the character flying in combat, but isnt that like the last power you get near the end of the game?
Sjw trash
Didn't even know what I was getting into when I first tried it. I actually liked it quite a lot, was pretty cool how they essentially made an SCP game. Though it did have some problems - it got pretty repetitive over time, the combat became kind of meh.
Honestly I'm just a bit sad they didn't go more into SCP-like weirdness in the game. I don't necessarily mean "whackyness", but they could have created a lot more side encounters with a whole bunch of interesting shit - but in general we didn't get to interact or see a lot of different altered items or anything of the sort. It was mostly about the Hiss (or whatever it was called), which didn't seem like a very interesting main baddy.
No. It's not the biggest disaster ever, but it's so, so forgettable. It's the kind of game where I legitimately forget it exists as soon as there's no thread about it on the front page. Physics manip stopped being impressive as a gimmick shortly after HL2 was released, the world is drag and grey, and the protagonist is so unappealing that you have to be Naughty Dog to make her any worse.
I feel bad for Remedy.
The protagonist is made for BBC
Why did they do it bros
>Does Zig Forums like Control?
>not on GOG
into the trash it goes
How come that lady hasn't had surgery to fix her fucked-up jaw
She'd be so pretty if her jaw wasn't Ron Perlman sized
because she's not as insecure as you would be
I love Sam Lake
Why did they make he so ugly in game?
She's actually really cute IRL
I honestly think it was just a mistake. A lot of western devs seem to have trouble with facial capture where the camera is too close to the actors when filming and it warps their faces in such a way that they end up looking wrong. MK11 has this same problem. It doesn't help that they never put any makeup on any of these women which just makes them look worse.
This was definitely my favourite part of the game
cringe and low t as fuck
No. I dont like it.
I bought it because I saw it has gotten quite a lot of praise and awards, thinking its a good narrative driven, cinematic game.
What I was greeted with however, was
>shallow as fuck corridor shooter, with literally nothing else in it or to do
>run, jump, shoot is all the game has while coating itself in some sort of mystery thriller shell that doesnt hold up
>sidequests only to pad out an already short game and which are nothing but kill 10 of xyz in old areas you have no reason to go back to
>exposition out of the ASS because apparently everything needs to be explained in detail the moment it comes up for the zoomer audience
The game feels like a fucking PS2 game, gameplay wise. Literally all the budget went into mocapping, actors, and the graphics.
It feels more like a tech demo than an actual game. The only interesting part is the setting itself, even though they dont really do anything interesting with that as well. Especially the terribly written office notes and documents are a huge buzzkill for any interest I might have in it. Everything is written as if the whole office was full of dude bros, high fiving each other all the time
Alan Wake is part of the Control universe. Not sure about Quantum Break though but it did use most of its skeleton
>thinking this is a bad jaw
Ok jawlet
some people are fine with how they look
It's part of the forgettable-core alongside such titans of the genre as nu-Tomb Raider and that-3rd-person-brown-&-bloom-shooter-from-late-00s-I-can't-quite-remember.
Sankarin tango is a cool song tho
*gulps*

was fun but had alotta flaws
If it was you it only mentioned these connections in small cameos.
It could spin off entirely into it's own thing and be perfectly fine.
She would birth sons with strong chins.
You have low test.
they wanted being more inclusive with trannies same case like abby
The absolute state of this board.
I got it for free, really liked it, plan to get the story dlc when its out.
See I got the same feel but liked it regardless. Granted it was free, but while the gameplay was pretty simplistic it played pretty well. Definitely a ps2 game with a facelift though, heavy Advent Rising or Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy vibes
How
>but isnt that like the last power you get near the end of the game?
About halfway, probably.
Jesus, this is confirmation of a massive faggot if I ever saw it. If you didn't want to impregnate this woman IMMEDIATELY then idk what to tell you. You might prefer taking it.
Fuck no
The MMO-like features felt unnecessary like timed side quests, weapon/power rarities, and multiple currencies. The optional bosses were great though. I just wish you had more offensive powers because throwing boulders was too powerful.
>Sjw trash
There are literally no "SJW themes" in it whatsoever. What the fuck are you even talking about?
No, it's just they fucked up the modelling. Same with everybody else in the game.
Not one person looks like a passable hu-mon.
Jesus Christ what the fuck is that fucking face
i bet you a kpop fag user

How can people like this garbage? The combat encounters were some of the most boring I have ever seen on a TPS. The exact same enemies over and over again. Not to mention that it feels weightless and all the padding the game makes use of.
A for effort
Control was dope as fuck. But the throwing ability was overpowered
I still have to play the DLC
NOOOOOO WHY ISNT HER FACE LIKE MY CHINKERINO INSECTERINO SINGERSSSS
Needed more abilities and enemies. Flying around throwing things at enemies is only fun for so long
Does Sam Lake live with a permanent Le Constipation Face?
I am a huge fan of the SCP like setting however it is on EGS store which i hate dealing with. Hopefully one day i can get it on steam
HEY YA
imagine the offspring
My fuckhen dick
doesn't look remotely like
Why would they go out of their way to make her jaw look that fucked up when it looked fine in Quantum Break?
idk funny how that keeps happening haha
It was cool. I was a bit disappointed that the notes and reports hint at all these supercool anomalies and shit, but the gameplay is just girl with superpowers. I didn't want horror, but it could've had some more interesting enemies.
