This was my biggest problem with Huniepop, it's impossible to play it monogamous, you have to be a slut who just fucks everyone. I got over it but I still think I'd like a version of Huniepop where you can exclusively date one girl and it's given more complexity for dating individual girls. I get that's not what they were going for but still.

Because they need to make way for new characters and Huniepop has only 1 person work on each aspect of the games. CGs are one artist, sprites are one artist, all the coding and writing and shit is done by the dev.
If they wanted to bring every single girl back and introduce new ones the game would take even longer to come out, and it's already taken years.
