been thinking about getting it
but I've been told you need to play the ps2 trilogy to understand this one
You don't. There's relation yes, but you can still grasp everything by itself.
It's an arcade game, treat it as such.
>you need to play the ps2 trilogy to understand this one
Nah, just a couple of namedrops here and there that don't get on the way.
High volume
>full ammo
>restarting from checkpoint
If you don't have a flight-stick+VR, don't try flying first-person mode, it's a veritable disadvantage
Mig 21 is the best plane in the game, use it exclusively
Play on expert controls
Hold Y/Triangle to padlock view enemies for easier dogfighting
Hold B/Circle for missile cam
Use high-g turns (hold both triggers while turning) often
Missiles have intentionally shit tracking, get right behind (or right in front) of enemies to guarantee hits
F-22 is best prane
>Play on expert controls
should i really do this?
i dont have a controller or a flight stick
If you've ever played Battlefield, if you can fly jets in Battlefield 3/4 you can definitely play AC7 with expert controls on KB+M
>25 anniversary
>NOTHING was announced

>Apparently the core point of Ace Combat's 25th anniv mag interview is:
>To guess what PA is working on for the future, you'll want to take a deep look at the 25th anniv wallpaper.
>There's a meaning in how the jets are lined up, but it's up to you to guess.
Does the DLC planes removes any challenge/fun of the game's difficulty?
>should i really do this?
yes, arcade is a hot pile of garbage, I play with my keyboard, no problem whatsoever
The fucking image quality is so fucking bad for the backrow I can't tell if Galm is there or not, because my guess was going backwards chronologically.
No, in fact they're actually underpowered compared to many vanilla planes in AC7, and nowhere near as powerful as how they were in previous games
Here it is in 4k

Just gives us the fucking corporate wars already.
Goddammit, it's definitely not release order nor timeline order. Since Wardog/Razgriz are already doing a flyover.
What's the biggest flying thing in this series so far?
Has to be the Aigaion
Afaik, the Arsenal Birbs have a longer wingspan, but then is shorter and thiner, the Aigaion is fucking massive in all dimensions
russian planes are cooler and better than american ones.
play it on expert controls.
that's it
man I wish I was an army engineer
>tanks
>jet planes
>cruisers
all me give hardons bros
no way a thing that size could fly
That's good to hear. The bars which show each strength are really high. Guess that's not too important, huh?
Worse user, he ALSO has take off weight augmentation, as if you ever need more than 20 to kill the UAVs.
>Using midflight fuel
Why don't they just use Nuclear power?
based and flankerpilled
The planes in the front make an 8 right? The ones in the back, who the fuck knows
Well I do have the old AC6 control sticks lying around.
I heard it requires a software to config the layout setting right?
play on expert controls, play the story mode and then do the DLC missions they are fantastic
Then you see the size of the engines.
Virtual cockpit is much better than 3rd person though
not really, less overall awareness
