NA server has 10 people on it

>NA server has 10 people on it

Because simplification does fucking nothing but keep the casuals on it for maybe one more week compared to the average two

Blame corona for that. It only had online tournaments and no chance to grow up without offline tourneys. Not even Cygames could prevent that.

source material is shit and only good for masturbating, the little blonde pig in the middle is proof of that

>Blame corona for that
Corona made games sell MORE.

Netcode and no offline tournaments. Is what idiots will say. Cause most of the top games suffer that and are fine.

Simplified in a way that left little to explore, bad DLC practices and bad advertising. The last one you especially see as the game did okay in Japan but is also not making many waves now. Mostly trying to get by as the only game launched in a while. Gachatards ran away quick, the general doesn't even talk about it.

1. Not a very interesting or unique fighter, it doesn't introduce anything new and just dumbs down existing mechanics instead
2. Bad launch lineup, many of the characters people actually wanted didn't get in at all on top of it just being a very small roster
3. Scummy DLC practices ontop of said small roster

This is pretty much the definition of the anime fighter you pick up because it's the newest game, and then drop in a month or two or when a new game comes out.
Even dragonball fighterZ had more going on with it.

I seem to remember KMR actually gutted the Granblue Vs e-sport shills before corona shutdowns rolled across the world.
That I assume was mostly a part of the wider 'don't spend money on dying grubble so we can funnel all the budget into priconne which is the game KMR actually cares about' reasons

>This is pretty much the definition of the anime fighter you pick up because it's the newest game
Saw a lot of this, people going can't wait to drop tag for GBVS! Doesn't give much confidence, if they fans had a backbone and demanded a bit more it likely would have launched in a better state. All hype no substance.

>>NA server has 10 people on it
That's wrong you doomposter, the game is played by over 30 million players every day.

Weeb gachafags cant p2w or afk grind a fighting game

Is this the shortest-lived fighter to come out in recent memory?

SamSho takes that cake.

I was going to say Arms but even that lived into the next year.

samsho is getting it's ubisoft collab so it's not dead!
It totally fucking is jesus christ why the fuck did they take that shitty stadia deal

SamSho lasted till after EVO and was at least relevant at tournaments

> that shitty stadia deal
and after that the EGS deal
LIKE THERE IS NO SFM/BLENDER PORN FFS WHEN THE GAME BEGS FOR IT

Not fighting games, they need locals.

See you all at Season 2.

Only if they add more Harvins.

The company and publisher managing the game did some real dumb shit. Like canceling the collectors and physical edition in the EU. The EU had more fans of the game in it the the NA release.

Issues with DLC and how they planned to implement it.

The netcode is not good enough to do online tournaments.

The did almost no marketing in the USA for the game.

The literally had no fucking clue who they should have been marketing the game too.

The whole thing was mismanaged.

As long as they add more girls I'm fine with the choices.

>EU had more fans
Lie, EU barely plays gbf since they get fucked in many events like U&F, plus their ping is absolute ass.
The problem was using XSeed for marketing since in japan people love the game. Battle of the communities is the best stuff to come out of it.

I heard it has like a coop mode or something. Is it online only or local only? Worth a buy on discount just for it?

Not really, most have had quite a few successful online tournaments.

dude if we make inputs braindead simple (shoryuken is too hard for players according to the survey done on resetera and ann) there will be sooo muuuuch people playing just like that super mario party games all the kiddie diddlers play

RPG mode can be played both online and local, it's not too long, takes around 8 hours to complete the game in normal and probably goes up to 12-15 hours if you wanna do hard mode plus the tower mode.
I say it's great on discount, but dunno when another discount will strike.

Because I'm busy working my full time job instead.
Gotta get 10 more axes and 8 katanas from the rock. And before that I've gotta get 2 more harps from the chuuni to make that easier.
And before that, I have to get 10 more boxes filled out of this event.

In other news though, the game was released at the absolute worst time it could have possibly been released. There is not a way it could have been released at a worse time.

Same for this game, but that only happened on japan. Corona affected them all.

Dude, you haven't completed this event, wtf are you doing. I did it in a day.

user my dirt grid is literally six yggdrasil swords.
Lay off.

Mines the same, I even just use full auto.

Theres literally no reason not to play the top four characters in whatever patch because its so dumbed down and combo structure is so similar among the cast.

>Corona affected them all.
Again, not really. The online tournaments have seen a lot of success with many even seeing more than most real life ones for obvious reasons.
Hell Smash with its horrible online had a huge one a few months ago.
