It's still selling bucketloads

>It's still selling bucketloads

literally why and how?

>Selling
>Can't buy it anywhere
lol OK

it has these things called games

It hit a niche middle ground between a console and a handheld that ended up appealing to alot of people

The games are fun.

I'm just building my switch library without owning a switch
For me it's the most advanced handheld console of all time and no smartphones don't count simply because I don't want to play p2w mobile garbage.

Because it's a handheld you can play on your TV, not a console you can play on the go.

Sorry to break it to you like this user but most people don't buy a Switch for processing power or framerate. I'm sorry that you did like a retard but one day I hope you will make peace with that.

Where is a good place to find one for retail price?

Good design, good marketing, affordable, Breath of the Wild, and Nintendo funneling both their handheld audience and their console audience to a single system.

Its the only handheld on the market, they have a monopoly

Being fit for both portable gaming and couch gaming means it has the widest possible appeals

It has tons of great exclusive games

It's not that hard to understand.

People like playing portable games that aren't just phone shit.

PS4 also has games that are

>more affordable
>better graphics
>better fps
>more diverse
>not kid shit
>actually engaging

lot's of nintendo's core demographic - children, women, and casuals - need something to do during quarantine

Good games. Xbox has nothing and Sony released Bloodborne some years ago. Nintendo is outdoing the competition.

>I'm just building my switch library without owning a switch

huh? what the fuck is the point of that?

And the PS4 is the second best-selling home console ever.

PS4 is as good as dead now since the PS5 is on the horizon

Boyo that's not even the biggest concern.

BotW, Odyssey and MK8D as well as most other first party games are still full price as well

Children are too busy playing gta and cod on PS4 though

>not kid shit
Found the kid, everyone.

of course an angry console warrior is here

Because people can pair buttplugs to Animal Crossing.
kotaku.com/we-are-now-entering-the-animal-crossing-buttplug-stag-1844239431

no competition right now, everybody who can afford a gaming console already owns a ps4

Okay well 40 year old women and neckbeard casuals then.

not all children want to play games like gta and cod. there are lots of children who want to play games made specifically for children and that's what Nintendo offer and has always offered and will always offer.

I don't want to resort to scalpers so I'm just waiting to get back in stock.

Compare Mario and Link to

>Last of Us Part 2
>Bloodborne
>Grand theft Auto Five
>Persona 5
>God of War
>Call of Duty MW3
>Until Dawn
>Red Dead Redemption 2

Yeah, it's clear what is kid shit and what isn't.

Didnt a demographics analysis show that most of the Switch audience were men between the ages of 25-30?

Nintendo Tax has been a thing since time immemorial, user.

Why does thing make people so upset?

Because nincels just consume products. That's why cardboard sold.

Oh shit, guys, he's returned to us.

Because it's a weak, underpowered tablet piece of shit that is holding the medium back and making a joke of the industry.

Forgive me if I would rather people think of games like Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy VII Remake and Last of Us 2 when I say "video games" instead of fucking Mario and Animal Crossing.

It's the comfy aspect of gaming, user.
Something that just can't be replaced with muh graphix.

Compare Bayonetta and SMT to

>Ratchet and Clank
>Astrobot
>Sly Cooper
>Jak and Daxter
>Kingdom Hearts

Yeah, it's clear what is kid shit and what isn't.

maybe, idk. I'm sure there are tons of manchildren that love Nintendo, but they aren't Nintendo's target demographic and Nintendo obviously doesn't care to pander to them.

Because everybody already owns PS4? What, did you expect them to go out and buy a second/third PS4?

Nintendo literally caters to everyone.

>Because it's a weak, underpowered tablet piece of shit that is holding the medium back and making a joke of the industry
Thats how consoles are though, they always hold the industry back, so stop make games for them and only make games for PC's

A handheld hybrid is not completing with a stand alone basic home console.

>literally why
It has games
>and how?
Money can be exchanged for goods and services.

>ps2 - 160 million
>ps4 - 110 million

not everyone has a ps4 yet. another 50 million and then some for the new gamers since the early 2000s.

People paying 700 usd for switch right now are gonna be butt hurt when switch pro release this winter.

Appealing product
Games
Corona virus
Cheap

>PS4 also has games

Who the hell wants a home console when you have a PC that will play all next gen titles better than the PS5 and Xbox Sex?

I wish they'd cater to me. I like mature games and competitive online. I don't see this offered anywhere by Nintendo. It all just looks like kiddy shit to me. I loved Nintendo when I was a child, but my tastes have evolved since then.

Anyone got an opinion on RemiLore? It's on sale now and I'm thinking about it. But should I get it on PC instead? Same price.

>Switch Pro

Confirmed it's not happening this year.

I wonder why too.

Attached: file.png (337x233, 65.92K)

also, I like companies that don't constantly get away with so much anti-consumer bullshit.

>mature games
>competitive online
isnt that a fucking oxymoron?

>I like mature games and competitive online

lol

Yeah I really hate how Nintendo are constantly making you buy microtransactions in their console games, or charge 60 bucks a year for online
