Recently bought this game because I heard Zig Forums hype it up so much and I gotta say, not a big fan
Nicholas Parker
I wanted this game so bad when I was a kid, never got it :(
Brayden Green
>remaster
Just do a new game with all the characters + new ones from Super.
I don't know what's wrong with Bamco just do this
Benjamin Gomez
Don’t think they’d do a new one after how popular xenoverse is
Jacob Harris
This game was only hyped for its massive roster. The original Budokais are superior in every way. Never gonna happen
Caleb Thompson
>not wanting ZBR out of region lock instead
Levi Mitchell
>remastering this one and not the superior BT2
yikes!
>Super
cringe!
Aiden James
There’s nothing wrong with Dragon Ball Super.
Ayden Green
BT2 on wii was the best in the series and you'll never convince me otherwise
anyway theirs modded PS2 versions and you can get HD/Widescreen/Netplay out of those so HD remaster never
Anthony Bell
It'd BTFO out of the other arena anime fighters so they don't want to do it
Adrian Roberts
It’s a game you need a few bros a few brews a pizza and a time machine back to 2007 to truly understand
Noah Nguyen
>Super
There's nothing right about Super. It's just mediocre plot lines that don't make sense and have no sense of drama or stakes with the laziest designs imaginable. New SSJ form? Just change the hair colour. New villain? Just make him Goku with different coloured clothing.
Lucas Moore
Seems cool but why can’t they go back to cel shading this “realistic” style looks like shit
Nathaniel Sullivan
It's the most accurate depiction of DB in a game
Robert Hernandez
>remaster
stop asking for these zoomers the original is fine
Juan Mitchell
nah fuck that. THIS is the real ps2 dragon ball game that needs a remaster
Camden Morgan
Yeah, this is my only gripe with this game. Never understood the whole plastic/realistic styling when it comes to anime games.
Julian Sanders
> New SSJ form? Just change the hair colour.
unlike the cell arc where the new super saiyan forms were just "super saiyan but also you're on steroids" and "super saiyan but also you have lightning I guess"
> New villain? Just make him Goku with different coloured clothing.
unlike dragon ball z where both cell and buu had the exact same prettyboy transformation freiza had
Dylan Cooper
>It's just mediocre plot lines that don't make sense and have no sense of drama or stakes
so dbz?
Kayden Richardson
All my friends hate anime, when I showed them DBFZ they got all quiet and kept cringing and called me a weeb and left shortly afterwards..
Dominic Torres
Never played but always looked like a lot of love was put into it. More so than even fighterz and it’s the best looking (faithful to the manga) dbz game ever imo. But in terms of hitting that doing ‘shit from the show’ itch it doesn’t compete with bt3
Ayden Roberts
SSJ2 is still distinctly recognisable from a design standpoint. Same with Cell and Buu
Z actually had some memorable villains and didn't use nostalgia as a crutch
Ayden Cox
in my dreams
Samuel Nelson
Toriyama still makes good designs even in Super, someone post that picture of Gods of Destruction with their respective artists
Aiden Ward
These are bad comparisons. I never once got the feeling original super saiyan forms existed to sell figures the way the shitper ones are.
Daniel Brown
>Ben 10 villain
>Fem Broly
>Black Goku
>Gold Frieza
Great stuff
Andrew Stewart
>Showing them DBZ of all things
Retard. DBZ is only a normies anime for those who grew up with it on Toonami. A modern normie-apporved anime you could've shown them is Attack on Titan. Thel cringe when some dude is screaming as his hair turns yellow, but won't cringe when two titans are fighting 1v1 in the middle of a city.
Jack Rivera
it along with fighterz are the only dragon ball games that are actually good for the gameplay and not just "well look everyone from the series is here shooting beams" kinda game like BT3 is
youtube.com
it's got some fucking bangers too
Parker Gutierrez
>but won't cringe when two titans are fighting 1v1 in the middle of a city
same shit as kaijufags, their shit looks so retarded but it somehow blew up big time
Angel Perry
>I never once got the feeling original super saiyan forms existed to sell figures
because you were 10 when you watched this shit on toonami. super saiyan as a concept only exists because it saves money on black ink when coloring gokus hair in a black and white manga (blonde turns into white) and it lets them use the same model as a baseline but with slight differences and say its a new figure.
Adam Perez
>Z actually had some memorable villains and didn't use nostalgia as a crutch
You mean besides the time that dr gero, a throwback to one of the earliest original dragon ball antagonists (the red ribbon army) comes back with NEW androids based on androids that had previously been made in OG dragon ball?
you mean besides all the throwbacks to dragon ball buu saga had, like them actually going back to the tenkaichi budokai and having the announcer recognize goku and friends and talking about how long its been?
Christian Butler
>super saiyan as a concept only exists because it saves money on black ink when coloring gokus hair in a black and white manga
But it's also an extremely iconic design that came from one of the most iconic scenes in the series and the medium as a whole, so it doesn't matter the original reasoning because it's been immensely well justified and it also had a decent setup prior
Brayden Cook
They don't have the balls to do a remaster because if they did there would never be a point in buying a DBZ game ever again. BT3 has everything you could ever want.
