What went wrong?
What went wrong?
Didn't fix the combat.
Early access
>No proper chambers
>Held parry
Casual crap
No mods
Go play mordhau or for honor if you want your "amazing" 1v1 combat.
They launched too soon while taking too long to launch.
They decided to keep putting off releasing it, only to release it in the same state it was in back in fucking 2017.
>30 pounds which is with the sales discount for early access
It's Warband+, instead of being an actual sequel.
It's pretty cool but it needs more random features like giving orders to AI led parties, getting older and dying, or a way to quickly determine the predicted profit of each productive enterprise in each city so you don't have to calculate it by hand.
ahem
It's fucking boring.
Technically, aging is already in. It sounds like death by old age has been coded but is currently commented out, too.
They've said some greater controls for AI led parties within your clan will be part of the next patch WHENEVER IT RELEASES AAAAAHHHHHH so I assume those commands you're hoping for are next on the chopping block.
I'm not sure what they're doing with enterprises. I suspect they're making them as nonprofitable and difficult to make efficient as possible to try to force the dynasty system, because they aren't willing to actually super-speed the rate at which time passes or simply drop the dynasty system.
they released it early to appease autism with the release date matching the initial release of the first mount and blade or some shit
its basically a tech demo, it needed much more time
especially when the new features are just shit mods of warband added a decade ago
also the setting, roman shit has been done to fucking death and it's boring at this point, it's basically a HD mod for warband that added three factions of identical romans, big fucking woop
it's fucking boring
It's far better than Warband gameplay-wise but needs mod tools so overhaul mods can be made. The entire idea of creating character and roleplaying as vassal of some kingdom falls flat in such bland, artificial setting as Calradia. Game needs to be set in richer historical or fantastical setting to truly work, like Warband had with mods. Without that the only reason to join and fight for any bland faction or king are memes like Harlaus the Butterlord which is hardly immersive.
zoomers will never understand mountain blade
for real what did, because I don't see any issues with the game
What a strange, delusional world you live in. Are you from a colliding timeline?
Fucking everything.
Factions all feel flavorless besides minor appearance changes.
Armor is all boring looking coats since this is pre-plate era.
Animations for everything look incredibly amateurish and clunky.
Nothing
Its also amazing 1vX combat
>have a beloved fictional world set in the high middle ages with clearly defined nations that people enjoy and care about
>wipe the slate clean to make way for a dark ages interpretation of that world
The name which prevented me from ever trying it. Seriously, why did they think this was acceptable?
whats wrong with the name?
i cant even imagine the kind of faggot that thinks like this
>wipe the slate clean
More like "do a prequel that's juuuuust close enough to the present so that familiar factions can be present, but retcon the geography anyways to make the players drive themselves insane."
Not that user, but I get a kind of childish vibe from it. i consider the name a poor choice, but not egregiously so.
Now, the unironic title drop in the main quest is a problem. That's IDIOTIC.
It's like Great Value branding.
Turks
How come Warband had so much more SOUL?
The baker is too lazy to bake the bread.
It was made by a tiny team of Turks who just wanted to make a cool game. As opposed to a massive team trying to cash in, propped up by money from the Turkish Government.
Too expensive for EA
I thought the point is you buy cheaper unfinished games and they crank up the price as they add more features
