Zig Forums has abhorrently dogshit taste for the most part. The vast majority here buy and judge games based on how it makes them look and knee-jerk reactions rather than the actual quality of the game.

Doesn't bother me thought. I just look at gameplay videos on youtube and decide whether it looks fun to do stuff in the game and then buy based on that. Haven't been disappointed yet.

Sometimes I take them into consideration. I'm much more inclined to take positive opinions on Zig Forums I see seriously than negative ones because I feel like the opinion most people will default to on Zig Forums with something new is to shit on it. That's not to say the game's don't deserve it sometimes, but I feel that whether a game deserves it or not it will still get shit on a lot, and so it can be difficult to tell if the game is actually bad or not from that, but if people are positive about something then I tend to believe they're positive about it because they've actually had a positive time with it and not because they're just going along with everyone else.

But if it's a well thought out post, maybe a paragraph or more, and they can articulate their issues then, yes, because it sounds like they played the game enough to understand. But even then, if I am interested in a game I will still check it out, with these opinions in mind- or if I am on the fence and I don't like what I'm reading, I will likely just skip over the game for now.
