Enter the Dragonfly but not shit. I like the music in that game so they should make it a similar style

Cull all the minigames and alternate characters from 3, they're shit and I didn't even like those sections as a kid.

Also have speedways function like 1 and 2 again.

Spyro 2 but with more and bigger levels, and more hidden areas/actual platforming challenges.

Less mini-games, more platforming.

I loved Spyro 1 and 2 but 3 left a horrible taste in my mouth because you spent more time playing Spyro's shitty butt buddies than Spyro

Spyro 2 was a fucking masterpiece, just make Spyro 2 again but bigger and more developed

Bigger stages, and more moves that Spyro learns as the game goes on. I actually like the other playable characters, so I'd prefer that stay in but give them more interesting things to do.

You have never played Spyro 3

Spyro 3 is the normalfag favorite so just expect SOME alt characters

I'd prefer Elora and Bianca over the literal whos from Spyro 3 though, just make Elora speed focused and Bianca have some magic gimmick

user you are literally incorrect here. It is objective fact you play as Spyro for the vast majority of 3.

it would be pretty fucking funny if they reboot a hero's tail and put cynder in it because why not

Bring back the platforming and sppedways from 1, but the variety of challenges from 2 and skateboarding from 3 for the perfect game. The one issue I have with 2 is that there are almost no jumps which failure results in the loss of a life. Most jumps in 2 have failure take you to a lower level safely. Additionally, combining difficult and dangerous jumps with the supercharger in 1 allowed for some of the most fun. I don't understand why they made 2 so low risk in this category

The "minigames" were actually good in Spyro 2 and made use out of Spyro's moveset. 3 is where it went wrong

More platforming and gliding, the gamed became less dependent on this and felt less structured on Spyro's abilities as they went on.
Ice breath would be pretty great, maybe electric.
Limit Spyro's little animal friends. If you have to play as them, only one or two and make them actually fun. Sgt Byrd can go back to doing speedways if it comes to it.

2 had the best minigames tho. They were actually challenging and fun

Hunter gets beaten to death with a golf club and then Spyro goes on a deadly rampage for revenge

Minigames being incorporated into the levels actually gave the levels a feeling of fullness and completeness instead of mini games being their own separate instances where you're forced to play as other characters
