Do you ever get Seasonal Nostalgia for video games?
>played Witcher 3 and Dying Light years ago during Summer
>every Summer now I end up thinking of them, remembering all the good story and gameplay moments I experienced and feeling like them playing again
>played Skyrim years ago during Winter
>every Winter now I end up reinstalling and modding it, then doing some random adventuring in-game before novel wears off again and I quit
Do you ever get Seasonal Nostalgia for video games?
Yeah, I play a bunch of survival horror games around Halloween.
Yeah I play Deus ex every summer and elder scrolls every fall.
I know this feel. I get mgs nostalgia every summer.
hell yea I do
I thought I was the only one
tend to think about old experiences with games all the time
I get the urge to play skyrim in the winter pretty much every year, if memory serves me right it came out around november and was comfy
sounds kinda reddit ngl senpai
Every winter i take out the ps3 to play MGS1
>nostalgia over the bloated casual piece of shit that is Witcher 3
Toussaint is probably the one place I’ve been crushing on. For the longest time I thought people that wanted more Witcher were fucking crazy. The main world and story just didn’t justify any reentry to what was going on. Then I played the dlc and I get it. If they just got away from the bleak and dying shit hole villages and actually went to wealthier or more enlightened cities, it would be worth it. Peak Witcher is far away from his harem of sorceress thots
bloodbornefag still seething 5 years later
cope and seethe
Warm summer evenings always remind me of Skies of Arcadia, and warm summer days always remind me of Final Fantasy X.
I invariably get the desire to replay one or the other every summer
did it ever even rain in Toussaint? I can't remember, it just feels like it was always summer in there, and colorful as shit too.
most of the main campaign I just remember as being kind of bleak, both in colors and the overall theme of the story too, and at least for me it seemed to be raining almost all the time there, so the game always had this miserable tone to it.
Witcher 3 and Skyrim are yikes dude
Skyrim and Christmas time are synonymous for me
>muh gotyrinos
go back to minecraft
lmao cope
seething
>Anna will never shit in your mouth
No I just don't play garbage
back to watching pewdiepie let's plays with you
>Skyrim in the late fall/early winter
>Deus Ex in early spring
>VtMB at peak summer
>Thief 1/2 at peak winter
>Oblivion in middle/late summer
>My GSG/4X games all year round, baby
Gotta agree nothing is more comfy than opening the window for a bit on a snowy day and playing skyrim.
Summer makes me think of being ten and playing Pokémon Emerald. Gf and I are gonna do a run together soon once a really hot day comes, I really wanna recapture the magic...
Yeah I feel the same, comfy summer vibes with Blood & Wine
I know it's disappointing
I play Sven co-op horror map during Halloween//October with the boys
I play TW3 every single Summer. It's tradition for me at this point. It's literally summer: the game (especially Toussaint).
I replay Banished every winter.
Every couple years I replay some stuff, but not seasonally. My only seasonal nostalgia is watching the LotR trilogy in the late fall/early winter, ideally the first day my furnace has to be kicked back on and I can make a nice big mug of hot cocoa and settle into my couch with a bunch of blankets.
