So nobody enjoys playing competitive online games, right?

So nobody enjoys playing competitive online games, right?

Maybe they do at first, but it quickly turns into an obsession with getting their rank/level up, and they rage if anything gets in the way of increasing that number.

I just play COD 2019 for fun believe it or not
maybe blow off some stress
it has too notch gunplay the sounds are really good and punchy

seems like it, unless it changes for something like the top 1% of people but even then I know a guy that has challenger in lol and hates the game, keeps playing it anyways

that's a lot of assumptions you just made there
i suggest hanging yourself before making another incredibly stupid post like that, cheers

Remember to sit with a good posture Zig Forums!

Hit that close to home, huh?

I dont tend to have fun in competitive games, half the time when your winning is good, but when your losing its a huge piss off. I mostly just fuck around in sandbox games by myself

>le stressed incel xD
you could've had sex

Remember to get up and stretch every hour!

i do enjoy playing competitive games, which is why i said your post was full of assumptions, maybe try using that brain you have at least once?
of course, now i'm the one making the assumption that you have a brain

what happened here? nerve gas?

>maybe ________?

Oh, I see.

*ahem*, go back.

Yes

I only compete in who is having the most fun.
Usually I win.

Seizure? Passed out from exhaustion?

desu I never understood it and I'm genuinely curious, I get why people that are actual pro players keep playing and getting better since they make money out of it, but what's the point if you're some John123 to spend 1000 hours in the game and still be shit if it brings you nothing but stress?
and do not mistake this for "why play games if it's a waste of time", since I myself spent literal thousands of hours on vidya, but why would you limit yourself to that one competitive game where every hour in is practically the same?

i accept your concession

Looks like some sort of seizure.

From user's comment and the fact that the streamer is asian, I'd wager this guy had been just sitting there playing for 10+ hours and a blood clot got to him.

Only "good" competitive games are games where the competition is PvE, like an MMO where you group up with your buddies and clear raids, and the reward is bragging that you do the highest dps or have the best gear

I’ve played 1500 hours of rocket league and got to the top 1% but realised I wasn’t having a massive amount of fun, so now I just play casual with my mates and piss about trying fun stuff

I will play any game as long as it is competitive.
It's fun. But I also lived through the arcade era, arena shooter era, and brown n bloom shootan era.

the enjoyment i get from winning against another person is different and greater than against a mindless bot
of course there are people who take it too far and make themselves miserable for basically nothing

literally the only thing online games have shown me is 90% of players minimum are just straight up fucking retards. there isnt any other way to put it. they just queue up for a game they cant play and waste thousands of hours on it without learning a single thing. i cant wrap my mind around that concept.

>have had itch to play mp for a while now
>remember LoL is a thing
Should I go back to it? Or is there a team-based, objective-driven mp game worth a shit out there right now?

That's cringepetitive, competitive

How can anyone?

Consoles
>Xims
>Modded controllers
>Macros
>DDOSing
>Shitty matching that pits 9 pings against 30 pings
>Toxic communities

PC
>"hacking"
>DDOSing
>Shitty communities

>unironically using the word toxic
yeah you fucking faggots killed multiplayer games, fuck everyone born after 2000

That would be corrected if they put actual real life bios and names as "gaymer tags." People hide behind their anonymous gamer tag to be shitheads.... and it works.

I play 1 kinda dead fighting game. Ranks aren't the goal. Doing a difficult combo brings plenty enough satisfaction.

>unironically using the work unironically
