E17 has amazing twists but R11 is just far more gripping and engaging. With E17 it's a slow build-up to get to the good part, whereas R11 is pure kino from start to finish. The twists that are hidden within the game if you dig deeper and piece everything together are also god-tier as well. For me R11 easily tops E17. It's very much a flawed masterpiece, if the ending was more fleshed out and conclusive it would easily be the GOAT.

E17 had a lot of boring parts for sure. R11 had many more thrilling moments, and felt like it had higher stakes from the get go. There's a lot of waiting for things to happen that in E17, a problem that R11 never had. It was difficult for me to convince my friends that E17 was worth completing. The story is hardly worth anything without a complete run.
