Is psi actually worth using at all? I've always done my runs with melee and standard guns

PSI is totally OP, even more so if you focus on it.
I started my 1st run with Navy's practical stuff, but gathered bits and pieces of PSI magix towards the end.
Being able to run past tons of nasty foes by turning invisible, or outright multiple items with your mind alone = priceless.

Depends. Most people agree that the 'charge on demand' skill(which automatically recharges all your energy based gear) is very useful for some builds if you don't want to keep running back to a charge station.
It really comes down to if you want to play a sci-fi mage or not. But the majority of psi skills do fall on the 'eh' side of things, if not worse.

Why are Deus Ex threads so packed full of discussion shitflinging but SS2 threads are kinda.... like theres not much to talk about.
