I saw this benchmark tool in the trailer and the results screen reminds me a lot of the results for the benchmark tool in Tomb Raider, not to mention like no other company offers benchmarking tools in their PC ports anymore it seems.

yes. i platinumed HZD at launch, but i'll play it again at 60fps with better graffix because i like the world, i like fighting the robots and I think Aloy is very cute.

It's nice to have a benchmarking tool as it allows you to test your graphics settings against a gamut of the games different performance expectations, so you can get everything dialed in before starting a play through so you don't get up getting sidelined by a sudden FPS drop in some more bombastic part of the game and have to either stop to tweak your settings or just bare through the poor performance.

Also allows some nice and easy real world game based testing when you upgrade your hardware and want to see the performance improvements.

Well that's pretty impressive for a company with a nearly pure Sony history of development. How the games performance goes remains to be seen but at least as far as options given to the player this is one of the nicest console to PC ports I've seen in a long time.
