Mine is still fine besides the rubber sides melting off.

>solders on new switch
Nothing personnel kid

any mouse pad and mouse recommendations?

I just rma'd mine after 1 year and 10 months of near constant use. They took it back without asking, send replacement before I even managed to send the defect product to them.

when are mechanical mice gonna start being the norm? you know how you can customize/build up your own mechanical keyboard?

i remember seeing once mouse doing something like that, dont remember what brand it was though.

Stop eating cheetos at your computer.

honestly, if my ever perishes I'm going to buy the exact same one, I even bought one for work.

I got $500 in Amazon gift cards from my landlord. What's the best wireless mouse out there now that they're supposedly as good as wired?

Click switches already are mechanical.

I use it for hotkeys in 3D programs

maybe if you play turn based games or vns lol.

plebs will never know this feeling while not-vidyan

Took about 15 years for my WMO to start doubleclicking.

Razor Mambo No. 5

It doesn't have a lot of buttons.
The first one below the scrollwheel unlocks it for free scrolling. The one below that you can use for off-side keyboard presses or menu functions, personally I use it as an undo hotkey for blender.

You have three thumb buttons, the one at the front being a nice DPI switch for games or drawing/modelling. If you ever need extra precision for something you just hold it and it automatically reduces the DPI of your mouse.

Thumb buttons are good for actions that have to be executed fast or macro actions such as jumpthrows in CSGO, knifing in shooters, rebuffing in mmo's or diablo.

The only two buttons that I hate and have 0 use for me are the one next to the left mouse button. I always accidentally press them when claw gripping the mouse. Fuck that gay shit.

If your mouse doesn't use omron switches it's objectively shit.

4 and 5 are forwardand back. 7 and 8 are copy/paste. 9 adjusts mouse sensitivity.

>This motherfucker right here
I've had this mouse for about a year or two and every 2 months it starts double clicking.
Only solution I found is opening the fucking thing and then oiling (yes, oiling) the actual contacts themselves. It also picks up a lot of dead skin so this shit needs cleaning a lot.

Really good fucking mouse tho.

I can't live without the unlocked wheel gimmick anymore to be honest. I'll only switch to something better if it has it.

nice it's going to double click in 5 years instead of 4

sorry, i phrased that wrong. i mean in the sense of building your own mouse.

>learn that blowing underneath the buttons causes it to stop double clicking
>have to stop playing every 20 minutes to aggressively blow hot air

If it's withint 2 years of your original purchase, the merchant you bought it from legally has to replace it with a new product comparable with that line, the same product or give your money back.

Omrons are chink shit.

Because back then they made mice sturdy. Now they have cheap chinese built switches that fail after a few thousand clicks, even though they're advertised as millions. Buy one now and see how long it takes to fail.

the gap between the clicks is too wide and the wheel is too big

who is this cute girl

show me your hands fagboy

This video is why I bought one.

Yeah I figure they can't really be replaced today as it will all be trash from China, I'm planning to repair the microswitch rather than replace it. It's a huge pain in the ass to open a WMO though, I still haven't managed to get the tabs off.

I think razer was looking into doing something like that I don't know what happened to it though.

unfortunately, both of them are no longer within that window, but honestly, they are still as good.
I'm glad I invested in a good mouse instead of Walmart crap.

I just replaced my G400s, not only did it start double clicking but the right click barely registered too and wouldn't hold a click. Was a good mouse and lasted me a while but I don't plan on buying Logitech again.

had my original G502 since it came out and it has zero issues. i'll only replace it with the most modern version of it.

>razer
>business model not based around wet toilet paper durability
Gee, I wonder why that didn't eventuate.

I have hands that make traphands look like bear paws and yet I can use the G502 without issues. You must have deformed limbs and hands if you complain about it.

pls

Should probably find a way to clean it.
