why is this game so hated among gamers?
Why is this game so hated among gamers?
Welp
was this the one with the gnome whore sister quest?
It was way worse than Origins and just barely better than 2.
It took me 15 months to realize there is a dragon on the box art.
Bought this digitally on ps4 for 3 euros. Worst purchase ever
The best part was meeting up with your party-members from Origins. It was pretty good considering that I got it for free.
In general, people tend to hate shitty games.
It's not your fault your brain is smooth.
Only good part of it was the bald elf.
Because it's bad.
based
the definitive enlightened elf centrist
Didn't this basically rip off the main plot from Final Fantasy X too?
The gameplay is good and the world is aestethic but it's Christian propaganda. Demons are evil, there is a quest with Pagans that kill each other. The chantry and the inquisition are the good guys.
And christards say that they're persecuted.
Added a lot of content that was unnecessary and only there to make you play longer. It could have been a decent 2 to 3 hour game, but noOoOooOooooooo gamers must play 40h games
You mean the Dwarf tunnels DLC? Yeah
Don't tell me you turned a blind eye on the numerous "collect x for larger e-penis" sidequests?
Because Grey Wardens leader was a woman and she was incredibly dumb. Dumb as in, literally sacrificing Grey Wardens in order to summon an archdemon tier retarded.
Based trad religion game
Apparently WRPG enthusiasts are somehow even more autistic completionists than JRPG enthusiasts so they're unironically filtered by the starter area being filled with endless mmo style quests
Because "it's not DA2" is the biggest praise you can give it.
It's funny how BioWare tricked players into believing that all three games were interconnected by your actions ala Mass Effect but they trolled them on that
nah, I'd say rpg fans are the only really vocal group of video game enthusiasts who WILL tear a new one to games they play. this is also the reason why rpgs tend to not rank highly in the grand scheme of video game lists.
Trespasser’s ending was pure kino
filler content filler content filler content
also doesn't have production value standards people expect from bioware game, lots of conversations stay in third person exploration camera rather than switching to cinematic dialogue camera you expect
the characters are less of NPCs and more of papercut spirites just to be there for the game
it's gleamy but a good-for-nothing game
In all honesty DA2 is still the better game in almost all apsects. If they hadn't rushed it in a year it might have even been close to Origins.
All interesting plot points of Inquisition are directly set up in DA2 and handled much better. Inquision has some many shit mechanics, such a boring world, the worst of the worst of all BW animations and dumb writing. I still can't grasp how it got so many GOW awards.
This was the point I was done with Bioware forever, at least ME3 had a somewhat good game before the ending, DAI was a complete dissapointment.
that's a novelty in the current climate, the problem is that it's a bland single player MMO
Bizarre speculation aside, how does that disagree with what I said?
Are there any worthwhile side quests in this game?
there is occasional good content there
too far too few for my taste t b h
>novelty
No, it really isn't. You braindead subhuman. Christianity has always been portrayed as good in the Jewish media.
You dumb kike.
Kikes have been kvetching about Christianity since it’s inception. They hate it and constantly bitch about it even being mentioned, while forcing bat mitzvahs into every fucking kids cartoon.
It's boring.
The game is basically a single player mmo.
>kill dragons and demons, hell kill a fuck ton of humans in the trilogy like it ain't no thang
>but NOOOOOOO not the hecklin elverinos not the trannies I mean sorcerrinos
Fucking BioWare adding diversity politics in what could've been a great fantasy franchise of games
I've been playing it and i feel lile the only good ones are your companions quest. Such a downgrade from Origins desu
It was a step in the right direction as far as Bioware was concerned. It's an actual RPG for one which is more than what most AAA "RPG" games can say for themselves. Some of the party members were kool, mainly the men and Cassandra and the combat was entertaining. Despite the hatred for it, I liked it.
You aren't very bright.
And Scout Harding.
It’s really not that hated. After the politics shit wore off, people saw it's an improvement on 2 but still with many flaws.
this. it was pretty good except for the clunkiness of bioware using a new engine not designed for anything other than fps at the time, and the mmo tier side quests
The MMO fetch quests killed it
The Elves are literally going to be the villains in the next game.
There are also women in every position of power (one is black) and trannies and gays, so it's still pozzed.
Terrible followers sans solas. Boring ass mission like that Ball with the fantasy french people.
The way to make this game enjoyable is to look at a quest in your log and ask yourself "Is this something the Inquisitor would bother doing personally?" Most of the time, the answer is no, absolutely not. That means that, except for the tiny number of sidequests that are actually worth doing, the only things you'll probably be doing in each area are the fade rifts and the dragons; everything else you can just run past because who gives a shit.
Makes the game go way faster and is thus a tighter experience. The game ridiculously bloated with bitchwork that it makes no sense for you to be doing and I can't actually figure out why it's there. Frankly I expected the game to be more of a strategy-RPG hybrid like Dragon Commander, but given Bioware aren't very good at trying new things I guess I shouldn't have been surprised it wasn't.
Also all the DLCs are better than the base game which I am convinced is intentional to sucker you for more money.
I heard they put the true ending as DLC? I finished the base game but never bothered with DLC since Origin is trash and that shit never goes on sale. Couldn't be bothered to pirate it either since I already finished the game.
Varric was okay.
I even liked the faggot Dorian. Thought I was going to hate him, but he was a decent character. Sera however, may be the worst Bioware character ever created!
Dorian is great when he’s not crying about daddy not approving of his degenerate lifestyle.
Ye, not having task autism and being a normal human being really improves the game.
