Please tell me why every thug in Arkham Asylum does the exact same animation when they get knocked out like they're having massive headaches

I need answers please

Because animations are expensive, and only 0.1% of the audience cares. It is also easier to recognize and all video games (with exceptions) are centered around pattern recognition.

Because they do have massive headaches. They dont want them to look dead

You're that "0.1%" of the audience you stupid clusterfuck

And not all video games are centered with whatever

Well try getting punched by the Batman and not getting a headache then

Batman never kills a single person in these games. Even when they fall 3 floors, get all their bones cracked, get shot by a cannon, or get run over by the batmobile, they're still alive. Merely unconscious.

Same thing that every other superhero would do

Of course he never kills a person. That's his main rule. Only unconsciousness is the outcome

his super power in these games is to brutalize people within an inch of their life and somehow let them live.

Still playing Arkham Knight on PC. Why is Bamham so BASED?

>Same thing that every other superhero would do
Most other superheros have super strength so getting hit by them would kill you.
Even more so than Batman who is peak human.

Don't know, but it annoys me too. One of the many things City fixed. Don't know why some Zig Forumsirgins prefer Asylum when City is superior in every way.

Because batman fucking punched them in the head LMFAOOOOOO
Yo i shot myself in the knee why can't i walk anymore? Hahahahahhaahahahhhahahahahahahhha

I fucking loved Arkham Knight. Yeah the boss battles are shit and it could use some as good as City/Origins, but driving the batmobile and the new, bigger and more distinct map are great

Conceptually Asylum is better (who doesn't love a condensed atmospheric locale) but in practice City has flat-out better gameplay and content. Outside of the Catwoman segments but apparently that was originally cashgrab DLC that got shoehorned into the GOTY edition.

i got asylum recently for free is it just me being a retard with small gamer brain? i just cant get super into it the camera specifically keeps fucking with me

I think there's an option for the camera to not follow the player, if that's what you're referring to.

Because it's a video game and not an accurate simulation of a bunch of thugs fighting Batman,
Next question please?

I like Arkham Knight, but all the jumpscares were unnecessary. Batman ain't supposed to be afraid of shit.

>Batman ain't supposed to be afraid of shit.
One of his major villains literally dopes him up with fear gas on the reg. He's afraid, it's just that he powers through it with will power

Yeah I know the plot's about Scarecrow dropping fear gas on Gotham, but shit I don't like getting spooked while I'm bullshiting in the city.

the cw levels are worth it for the ass alone

No it was a way to get people to but the game and not buy it preowned, it was paired with all copies of the game.
Fortunately since it was DLC you could delete it and didn't have to play through it which was good.

Arkham Origins is the best in the series. Also Troy Baker does a better Joker than Mark Hamill. The line to eat my dick starts here

You should try getting punched in the face by the dark knight lol im sure id have a headache too

It definitely has the best boss fights, yeah sure but its not the best in the series. Its not as bad as people say though

Troy Baker's Joker is okay, comes off as too tryhard though. But that's not 100% his fault, I don't like Origins Joker's design.
Though I do think Origins, despite being a mess overall, actually has the best story.

You're talking about the game where they had one guy throughout development working entirely on Batman's cape animations.

Origins has some underrated elements and moments of brilliance but it fails so hard in essential areas (progression system, map design, etc.) that people who don't get why people hate it either have extremely selective memory or are just taking the piss.

The progression system really is bizarre, like why the fuck do you have to unlock every armor upgrade right away? Why are critical strikes locked behind a sidequest? The game is just so unpolished in so many random ways, it needed another six months to a year in the oven.

Arkham games have the shittiest covers.

Hopefully we see a new Arkham game soon.

they're all unconscious. even if they get punched off the top of a high rise building, they're merely knocked out
