How do i get good as Eliza in Tekken 7?
I switched from SFV and it feels like i have to do everything to just get a single round with her.

She's one of the weakest characters in T7. That's both a good and a bad thing. The good part is that no one knows your character so you can get away with murder all the time. Bad thing is that weaker characters in general need to take more risks to excel.

She's awful but she excels against shit players. If you're losing to pretty much anyone below around purple or blue you're doing something wrong.

3+4 is a snake edge that's slow af, but has a very deceptive animation so it catches just about every bad player every time.
d3 into dp needs a clean hit, but bad players have no movement or spacing so it's exceptionally easy to get in on them.
She has projectiles, which bad players don't sidestep and can't approach.
Moonglide 4 is death on block, but bad players won't block it and you can mix it up with MG 3,4 and 3,3 to approach easily.
Last but not least, divekick (qcb+4) spam is maybe the single most annoying things for low-level players to deal with since it has both evasion and crushing properties and is like +/- 0 on block and like at least +9 on hit, meaning on hit it guarantees either a followup or a mixup. It can be canceled into and it can also be done instantly with a tiger knee input. I don't even play the character, but I've taken entire games perfectly off of orange players simply by spamming d1 (dickjab) into divekick ad nauseum, since they don't ever low-parry dickjab.

So yeah, she's one of the cheesiest characters in the game and has statistically one of the highest winrates at low rank. She has literally nothing hard about her except for instant divekick combos. Other than that, she requires you to have the left half of your brain. Nobody has any matchup experience against her since she's a literally who. If you're losing with her below at least genbu, you just suck dick. She doesn't need buffs, she's inherently a low-level cheese character.

Menat can keep people out just with her normals, but her combos and setplays require some serious finesse.
