Hot take: You cannot claim to be a fan of the game if you'fe only played it via emulation.

good thing I played the PC port
I played it on the DS. With and without cheats
Who cares how they played it you stupid bitch why do you care how other people enjoy video games do you have nothing in your sad fucking empty life other than to make arbritary standards for having fun and having passions and impose them on other people
Just go play some games and deflate that ego of yours
>Hot take: You cannot claim to be a fan of the game if you'fe only played it via emulation.
3D mascot platforming is a rightfully dead genre.
fucking gatekeepers
Hot take: You cannot claim to be a fan of music if you've never listened to a vinyl.
Are you going to provide any justification for this claim or did you just want (You)s?
I don't claim to be a fan of the game, I think it has aged very poorly.
Luckily I was given an N64 with Mario 64 and Pokemon Stadium for free a month ago by my little bros friend.
Your take is fresh out the oven, but boy does it smell like shit
It is literally the exact same experience
Why all of you anti-emulationfags act like complete idiots always? I've never seen emulationfags be so butthurt about playing on original hardware
I am a mother 3 fan
how are you planning on enforcing this?
Same, two weeks ago I did a 150 star playthrough completely legit and it was somehow even more fun than it was back in my childhood.
What makes you think this way?
Your retro collection is worthless.
Shut up, /vr/. Go drink your prune juice.
Kill yourself retard, unless it's terrible emulation the experience is either almost identical to native, or even superior, and I say that as someone who owns my favorite games physically. A medium where everything has a hundred ports of varying quality is not the place to make this argument.
>NOOOOOOO YOU HAVE TO PAY $80-$400 TO THIRD PARTY SCALPERS IF YOU WANT TO PLAY GAMES FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD REEEE MY PHYSICAL COLLECTION THAT'S SUBJECT TO DATA AND HARDWARE ROT REEEEEE
Hot take: you can't claim to hate the game if you've only played it through emulation. Mostly when it comes to games like Super Mario 64 where using the N64 actually makes a difference because it has more degrees of movement than your standard gamepad.
'Fan' is a stronger word than you think. You can like something without being a fan of it. In fact, you probably should.
t.Chubby
>this fucking bait
i'll take it anyway. most of the games i cherish the most i discovered through emulation. most of them were due to regional issues accessing certain games, which at the time i discovered was impossible to circumvent.
now, many years later i collect the physical games due to the connection i made with them via emulation. though i don't play them nearly as much as i did via emulators, that doesn't meant i can't "be a fan" of something i discovered.
you're a fan of something if you genuinely and sincerely enjoyed it no matter how you found it. your take isn't "hot". it's inconsiderate and lacks empathy.
And why is that? I mean, other than this arbitrary need you sub-90 IQ people have to feel good about yourselves about something, so when you've never accomplished anything in your life, not even in gaming, you need to come up with made up rules where you "win" something in your childish imaginations. Like "You're not a true Zelda fan unless you bought the pink controller and played the game in summer of 1995 for 3 weeks straight without even going out with friends", style. Like I said, arbitrary.
Other than that, why is that? And I'm saying this as something who's barely ever played emulated games. There is literally no difference however.
seethe more scalper jew
also you're a total faggot. eat shit and die.
>it's another poorfag from garbage countries telling me shit
>coping COOMSOOMER
>Had only played the game through emulation
>Never really liked it, thought the controls and physics were weird
>Play the unofficial PC port
>Controls perfectly
What if I'm also emulating being a fan
>hot take
bruh you're tilted af.
