Nice
I love Meiya so much
>no nipples on suits anymore
Who cares.
>reading muv-luv in order to fap
Retard.
I still do.
Never read Muv Luv, I need to do Extra before Unlimited right? Do I need to do all the routes?
You don't 'need' to, but it greatly helps with the context and provides some additional emotional basis to the events.
Yes. It's a trilogy and you'll ruin your experience if you don't read it. You need to read Meiya's and Sumika's routes in Extra before you play Unlimited. In Unlimited I recommend doing Meiya's (both endings) and Yuuko-sensei's routes.
After doing all of that you can play Alternative and then go back and finish the other routes in Extra and Unlimited if you care.
And same thing regarding the routes.
I think steam version of the game doesn't even require anything specific for Unlimited to be unlocked, but I'd still recommend doing the 'main' girls Meiya and Sumika regardless. Anything after that is a bonus.
Best girl
I hope so. I've been waiting for like 6 years
Are all Muv Luv games on Steam uncensored? no cut content or changes?
Agree with this guy. You need to read at least one route of extra, it sucks but it pays off in Alternative
Bullshit.
They're all censored unfortunately, but also an easy fix
I still think you need to read both, Meyia for Unlimited and Sumika for Alternative.
How easy? I played the fan translation a while back for the whole trilogy. Missing content or censored content would be a huge deal-breaker to me.
Fuck Alternative btw.
I wanted to support them but was disappointed that it was censored. You just have to overwrite the steam folder with a pirated version.
Best point of the series. Sorry, but your taste is shit.
>takes away the original cast's individuality
>turns takeru into a gigantic faggot after the ptsd shit and then saying he's "matured"
>even though the rest of the cast has to babysit him through the final mission because they know he's too incompetent to take care of himself at that point in the story
>shoves in rape and ntr for no reason other than to satisfy the writer's fetishes in an otherwise relatively vanilla series
>each "character" exists solely to emit the same monologue dozens of times, whether it be takeru telling himself how "mature" he is or other characters telling him how "mature" he should be
>character development of the original cast in unlimited goes away, but after the ptsd arc the reader is told that it happens off-screen and everyone just pretends they developed in the same way
>undermines the point in unlimited of Takeru letting go of the Extra universe (represented by Sumika) and moving on to fitting in in the Unlimited / Alternative universe
>the explanation of the beta (or lack thereof) is stupid. They exist to give the series an antagonist
>final boss is a tentacle rape monster, this is supposed to be taken seriously
>Meiya screams at takeru for 5 minutes, but instead of having some heartfelt dialogue he just sits there telling himself how retarded he is
>personal preference, but takeru should've remembered the unlimited / alternative events in the epilogue when they're back in the Extra universe, I think.
Yeah. Best point.
>has to babysit him
From what I remember everyone just assumed they need to babysit him when in fact he didn't need that kind of attention and even comments on it and acts accordingly.
Nah, he breaks down completely when he assumes everyone's dead then is back to normal when he gets the signal that they're still alive. When he finds out they actually are dead, and that he has to kill meiya, he chokes for minutes while the beta could have killed all of them at any point for all he knew.
I'm so happy that we are finally getting all of TDA in english.
Based good taste user.
>he breaks down completely
Are you sure you aren't mixing it up with some other events in the game?
Oh, wait. You were talking about the inital contact loss.
He did prety well after though.
Any info about Integrate?
He recovered when he got the false signal, but he was pathetic in the final area when he had to kill Meiya. It could've been fine if they actually had a meaningful coversation, I'm cool with emotional goodbyes and stuff even if it's dumb when the final boss is waiting to kill them, but they don't. Takeru just sits there like an idiot and meiya tells him to kill her every ten seconds for five or six minutes.
Epic opinion. Good thing barely anyone agrees with you.
Do not expect them to give any info for a long time, it's still really early in development. They could have done so during the expo but they didn't which shows that they have yet to create enough material to talk about it or that they are sitting on it for some kind of reaseon. Regardless I think it's better not to expect anything so soon.
This is what I want to know as well.
based and chottopilled
What in that post besides the point where I prefaced with "personal preference" was an opinion?
