Everyone on the internet seems to find this mission impossible

>everyone on the internet seems to find this mission impossible
WTF? I beat it first try when I was 10

Yeah apparently retards drove right next to the train making it impossible for Smoke to shoot.

Hot take: Wrong Side of the Tracks and Zero's missions were all easy as fuck

Lock me up

It was easy if you drove onto the train

for me the plane school was the hardest part
I feel like most people never got that far because zero and the train pale in comparison to that

Nah you're right. Train mission is very easy as long as you don't stick right next to the train, the position in OP's pic is pretty much ideal.
Zero's missions are piss easy, but the controls can be awkward. I remapped alternate keys in the middle of my keyboard as a kid for plane/helicopter controls.

What were the actual hardest missions in the game?

getting all gold in driving school was the hardest for me

The only mission I remember being frustrated on was the one where you had to fly from the airfield down to that little town at the base of Mt. Chiliad under a certain low as fuck altitude

Let me guess. Blind-folded and controlling with your feet?

apparently if you ride too close to the train smoke cant kill them fast enough so you have to keep a distance. Took me a while to figure out

The original ps2 version of the supply lines mission was next to impossible.

If you want to be cautious you can just fly over the ocean along the coastline instead

yeah, I've never beaten the first Plane Mission, maybe it's extra difficult on keyboard and I just suck hard at games

Same, at least the rewards were ok.

the hardest part in the game was getting all gold in driving school

Fuck that bullshit PIT manouver, I get it by pure luck every damn time

It took me a few tries but I got the hang of it pretty quick. I imagine it'd be a fucking nightmare with a controller, though. I did it on PC.

Did nobody just jump on train and shoot them as CJ?

any of the schools with frame limiter on were basically impossible to all gold.

All the guy who think that San Andreas was hard never played Vice City

Drive ahead of the train. Get your ak out. Shoot them dismounted. Done.

with the exception of the retarded mission where you recruit Hillary by racing him, there was no other mission that approached some of the bullshit San Andreas could throw at you

twice as big, four times as empty

too bad half the map was either underused or completely unused in gta 5
the prison isn't used at all in single player the military base is one optional heist setup mission to steal the cargobob
pretty much the entire eastern mountainrange
fuck rockstar and their online bullshit it's been 7 years and they won't give any single player dlc

It's pretty easy. All you have to do is follow the damn train.

the rc plane mission was harder but I think it was bugged

Vice City was only ever hard because the shooting controls were absolute shit on a controller

desu I find it more weird that people had issues with RC Copter missions in GTA VC.

This mission is the ultimate filter

Did anyone else absolutely love the burglary missions?

They were a cool idea but they were kind of ruined for me when I found out I could just sprint out the door before the residents called the police and then immediately go back inside with no penalty

For me, it's Liberty City

People will disagree but I still think the last mission in the game is annoying as fuck. Not even because of the shooting but because of the part where sweet clings onto the fire truck and you have to catch him. The acceleration of the fire truck is so fucking fast and you have so little time to catch him.

I remember them being pretty shit on PC as well.

Just beat it first try now 10 years later since I last played.
Missions where you need to shoot in tight corridors or follow some vehicle gave me trouble I didn't expect though.

gta 3 was the worst
cars were less durable and towards the end of the game you start encountering enemies with m16s that would insta kill you
