Not my favourite but it's a pretty cool dude, absolutely bro

too damn weak for a ritual card

I know but I love his design. the anime made me love him more.

Ehh, 2800 ATK, you could do worse. Slap an equip on it and it should be able to beat BLS.

A lot of ritual cards were absolute trash.

>america: the card

Gen1 Yuigoh was a different time.
2000 Monsters were considered strong at the time.
Don't forget that old rules had no tribute rule too

Remeber when a 3000 ATK card was considered the virtually unbeatable most powerful card?

What's a mant?

I love this card. It's not good.

Zera the mant
Zera the mant
he does what a normal human can't

Rituals were weak because they were one of the few ways to perform a Special Summon at the time. Konami wasn't sure how strong multiple summons per turn would be so they locked it behind a ton of resources, even for weak cards. It was overtuned but that is why.

Webster's dictionary says it is a stammer.

remember when the egyptian god cards were considered the strongest cards in the game?
I miss the classic yugioh

Sacrificing 2 monsters for a shitty monster with no special effect that requires a special card was still a pretty bad deal, you'd far better off playing something like the Summoned Skull.

webster's dictionary says you're a racist

isn't that the Megaman X4 general boss?

are the Gishki ritual cards still relevant?

Still not really played because the resources required to bring out something that could be removed with Raigeki or Dark Hole or Trap Hole wasn't worth it when you could do Summoned Skull with one tribute and still be in essentially the same position. The extra 500 didn't matter, nothing was going to beat over you anyway, so may as well spent one less tribute.

>A lot of ritual cards were absolute trash.

that applies to most early cards in general

wrong
not a problem

Same thing as Fusion. Polymerization is a generic spell but the materials were too specific. I think the idea of Elemental HERO was to have so many combos that fusion is almost always possible.

>american equals burger
how can this become a meme in 2020

Attached: 977.jpg (300x270, 14.46K)

That be true.

In general, a 6 star monster is going to be better than the meme burger, so it's not really worth sacrificing it unless your actual plan is bringing it back with monster reborn later.

My friend liked this card so we had a special rule for just this one card. It just played as a normal monster.

To be fair, the egyptian god cards would be better if they had the powers they have in canon

Barafag

What you have to remember about power levels in early Yugioh is that a lot of the junk cards in early sets over here weren't junk originally, they'd just already been power crept.

This guy was meta in the original LOB in Japan as the strongest level 4 monster (except Celtic Guardian who was a Secret Rare). By the time the western LOB released you had La Jinn in the Kaiba starter deck at 1800 making cards like this obselete.

>teppen looks like a cool game
>but it's not available in my country's app store
what do

a miserable little pile of secretst

Fusions were arguably worse because they required very specific monsters in addition to polymerization. With rituals you could use anything as long you met the star requirement and had the ritual card on hand.

No, not really. 90% of the cards were total garbage. I remember opening booster packs, then tossing the entire pack in a junk card pile to never be seen again. I don't understand what crack the designers were smoking that you'd need to have a set of 3 cards to summon a worthless ritual/fusion monster when summoned skull was superior to each of them. Very dumb game, I regret every dollar wasted on it.

Emulate in Bluestacks? I hope you can get in either way, 1st anniversary is dropping stupid amounts of free shit. New set is pretty fun.

HAHAHAHA WHAT? You can't be serious

HA

Same.

Pfft, HALF my lifepoints? No thanks, give me another 1900 beat stick please.

god cards where never good.

going -3 for a big beater that you physically needed to draw and also is a dead card most of the time is just plain garbage especially with the underwhelming effects.

the new ra support is promising but also likely never going to see any real competitive play because it still requires a ton of investment just to play ra and hope yu get off an OTK

luckily they are a lot less strict these days. usually the fusion components are more general, even in the case where the artwork is clearly a fusion of two specific monsters it's basically only a suggestion that you use those cards.

>like Flame Swordsman
>Find out he's a fusion
Damn son

Is it fair to say yugioh's one of the dumber card games, but with one of the coolest aesthetics?

I prefer the original

Can I built a deck around Gaia the Fierce Knight in nuYugioh?

He's always been a favorite. Him and Launcher Spider, Summoned Skull, Mystical Elf
