Origins or Odyssey Zig Forums?
I'm leaning towards getting Odyssey because of the boats from black flag being back but they seem very similar otherwise. What do you think?

Honestly OP, I found Origins to be really clunky, and there was too many times when i had to stop following the Main Story because i had to do 15 boring sidequests to get even close to the level requirement, i didn't have these issues in Odyssey, Odyssey is also an all-around more fluid and fun game IMO, and has much more to offer. You're not missing anything with either game's story. AC Story has been trash for years.I'd go with Odyssey.

I legitimately didn’t last more than a few hours into odyssey, left the tutorial island and did some sailing shit and main missions then dropped it. It was just so fucking boring. And the “”””rpg””””” elements were complete dogshit, don’t get me started on the trash leveled loot shit. Plus the voice acting and writing were so bad that it was off-putting. Honestly I can’t think of a single thing I liked about it

Don't get me wrong, I love the animations because they are fucking brutal, but it's frustrating when Connor or Ezio managed to stab a guy while walking past hiim and back into cover and I try to infiltrate a fort silently, quickly killing someone but Alexios fucking flips the dude 180 Degrees, stabs him in the stomach and kicks him through his own spear

Origins was the better game with the better protaganist. But to me Odyssey just felt more fun (100% due to the levity which made the game not take itself too seriously). I disliked how they took shields away in Odyssey though.

Nah Senpai, Origins feels much more varied, you can actually tell where you are on the map by the fauna and flora, Odyssey just looks the same everywhere. If you take a pic of Alexios standing in a forest he couldd be anywhere from Chios to Makedonia

This. If you pace your exploration with where the story takes you, Origins is just jaw dropping when you see a new city or biome for the first time over the horizon. Following the quests around the Faiyum Oasis felt more like an Odyssey than anything in Odyssey
