Starfield

So much potential. So, how will Todd and the boys fuck up this one?

No marriable alien companions

It used the Gamebryo engine and looks like Fallout 4 in space

same way they fucked up Fallout 4. Action game with mediocre FPS gunplay, horrible writing, no choice, and decent exploration. A 5/10 game yet again.

Is Todd the ultimate used car salesman? You know the guy is selling you trash, but he's just so...charismatic... Is there a way to learn these jedi powers?

>It used the Gamebryo
This is confirmed btw. Kiss of death.

It's creation engine, but yeah it's still bad. I know gamebryo is the underlying foundation but plenty of game devs use 20+ year old engines and they do just fine.

>so much potential
Have we even seen one second of gameplay yet? How would you know?

Is there a reason they're so attached to this engine?

paid mods, micro transactions, co-op noone wants, subscription services, bad writing, shitty dlcs, bugs, casualization, focus on shallow base building, broken promises, starships are going to be disappointing since bethesda has no experience with vehicles, and you're still going to buy it and defend it because his lies are just that good.

As long as Toddland is stuck to their cabbage patch monster of an engine, they are just gonna half ass stuff knowing their shit will just get steamrolled modded.

Bethesda has been a dead dev for quite a while now.

They know the modding community is heavily experienced with it, so they won't change it up cause they won't have mods covering for their laziness in cutting content.

to be fair fallout 4 was fun to goof around with the crafting for a while. I had more fun with fallout 4 than i did skyrim.

I like pseudo-hard sf space operas. Bethesda games have never had great gameplay anyway so a cool world is the most to hope for.

Nah. Even the masses have been tired of Bethesda's bullshit since 2015. Fallout 4 was mixed and 76 sold like shit.

At least Rockstar can get away with selling the same game for over 10 years because the base of it doesn't need a full makeover before being serviceable.

i wish that were true user...

NMS has shown you can salvage any multiplayer mod once you devote actual effort to it

then you've got all the basedboys making ISABELLE AND DOOMGUY MEMES OMG and people saying the shitty doom memes pretending they were in on it the whole time.... "Rip and tear" and hehe doom is boom. trust me user, the masses just want to consoom.

I'm currently playing FO76, because I gave Todd my money a week ago

consoomers have no self control... they must consoom.... it's why sword and shield, mk11, fallout 76, and a lot of other games are doing well. people bought sword and shield literally just because the switch has that big a drought of actual nintendo games and because they did a flashy trailer, they bought mk11 despite what wb pulled on steam with mk10 where the game was broken and instead of fixing it they just made you purchase an entirely new mk10, people shat all over 76 and look at it with the mostly positive on steam now.

By going the blue and green alien route.
Just humans is the way to go baby.

It's not the fault of Gamebryo, it's the fact Bethesda is fucking incompetent.

Would you?

>See that planet? You can land there.

Will it be a star wars style thing with magic FTL and aliens everywhere or will it be more like The Expanse?

>So much potential
you have nothing but a cgi logo and the knowledge that this is being made in gamebryo by the people who made fallout 76, there is no potential
fucking retarded people dream about a game they want and then get disappointed that devs didn't reproduce his dream, every time...

Think age of sail but in space.

7k reviews are nothing, whoever was retarded enough to buy it on steam was already pretending to like it for a long time, are the small minority of people who are still licking bethesda balls, I would be able to bet a lot of them bought more then once just to increase sales and positive review numbers the same way other fanboys bases where already caught doing

what does this prove? A "mostly positive" steam rating is dogshit, review scores are massively inflated and anything below an 80 is considered bad.

it sold 82% less then fallout 4 user, you're being overly pessimistic

Crafting was too linear in f4, everything was a direct upgrade to what you just crafted
