I just don't like MGS3, I truly believe it to be the worst in the canon games
>you have to tend to every little part of your body, >Naked Snake is annoying >The camouflage gets tedious to change in every environment >If you don't you have the right food, you're fucked >The bosses are needlessly complicated >all this us is a hunting game with the campiest BS story
I've played this game 3 times on my 360 hoping I'd like it, but no. It's just not fun. Why do you guys enjoy this??
Here's my argument: It's the most kino MGS. It simply is. Everything, even in gameplay. You are a shit person for disliking 3. /thread
Robert Gonzalez
>you have to tend to every little part of your body Don't get hit maybe?
>Naked Snake is annoying Thanks for the blog
>The camouflage gets tedious to change in every environment 40% camo is all you need. Guards are blind unless you're on extreme
>all this us is a hunting game with the campiest BS story You talking about PW?
Luke Brown
It's a survival game user. Play on high difficulty for the proper experience.
Logan Fisher
People who like this game have no right to shit on movie games.
Juan Carter
>Why do you guys enjoy this?? Because it's fun, engaging, dynamic gaming experience with near unlimited replay value. It's also entertaining and thought-provoking ride with great audio-visual presentation, great cast, et cetera.
It's a "cinematic" experience, that's also a 100% pure video game at heart.
Juan Miller
MGS3 is my favourite. Food is everywhere, tho. Menuing is... not responsive.
Carson Turner
MGS3 is well written. MGS3 has good characters. That's the difference between movie-shit like Death Stranding, God of War (...) and KINO-MGS3
So this how bitter MGS3 redditors react eh? >you are a shit person Dilate.
Cameron Green
>>you have to tend to every little part of your body, dont get hurt >>Naked Snake is annoying he barely speaks >>The camouflage gets tedious to change in every environment you are the kind of person that needs to open the combo list ever 5 seconds when playing a fighting game arent ya? >>If you don't you have the right food, you're fucked thankfully there is food EVERYWHERE in EVERYMAP >>The bosses are needlessly complicated thats what makes then good >>all this us is a hunting game with the campiest BS story camp != bad
>I've played this game 3 times on my 360 hoping I'd like it i finished the game 3 times before i even knew CQC was a thing back in the day
I went to replay all the Metal Gear games again and disliked 2, but fully stopped at this game. On PS3, I ran into some fucking awful bugs on top of the tedium you mention. I tranq'ed a dog and the thing woke up as soon as I hopped out of a tree. It could just be the HD remasters sucking ass, but I didn't remember hating it this much on PS2.
This is what I miss in 5. I'm at 80% in 5 now, got it with the Game Pass when I got the Xbone (bored af because of corona). I love the game, it's really fun. But getting 100% is a bit tedious. Great game, but not a great Metal Gear Solid. If only they gave Kojima more time, I'm sure it would have been way better.
Cooper Green
damn nigga i always play on extreme and never worry about that shit lmfao git gud
It is absolutely fucking incredible at how immediately Death Stranding is able to expose people who have never actually played it. It's like having x-ray vision or something on Zig Forums.
Bentley Torres
False. Redditors fucking love MGS1 and 4. MGS2 receives no love, as it's the most underrated game in the series.
>press triangle to stick to walls that killed this game to me, such a simple fucking change killed this game
Benjamin Harris
Nice to see someone else that doesn't completely shit all over MGS4. Despite its flaws, it has the potential for some of the most creative gameplay in the series.
Gabriel Taylor
>It's the best one THEREFORE YOU HAVE TO LOVE IT OR ELSE I WILL POST WOJAKS MOCKING YOU!!!!!!!!! REEEEEEEEEEE!
Robert Anderson
I've had fun with 4, definitely. I really loved the first act. I always hoped the whole game would be located in Afghanistan. Just like 3, you're in one location, not going from country to country. First act had the best sneaking IMO and the fighting between the rebels and PMCs was cool
Hunter Powell
Is it Afghanistan btw? I forgot, Middle East at least. I still want to play MGO2 again, but I don't feel like going through the hassle of making it work, I guess you need to downgrade the PS3 and shit. Haven't checked at all
Joseph Perry
I’d bust the biggest nut if 3 got a pc release. Will it ever happen?
Juan Collins
4 is correctly rated. After Act II it's just a stream of disappointment of never again being able to play the game like you could in the first two acts.
Dominic Miller
>you have to tend to every little part of your body, Unless your in active shootouts constantly, you rarely need to use the Cure menu outside of story moments or The Fear >camo gets tedious Yup. Should have been items you equip for L2. >right food Game pours you with rations or ready to eat food >bosses complicated No
Luke Carter
Officially? Never. Konami is far too gone to produce anything of merit with the series anymore.
