I missed most of the last thread on this so let's settle this once and for all: Is it shit or no?

I've been replaying it. Purely for the kingboy power fantasy Its a guilty pleasure. RPG elements are shit. Combats shit. At least SnS. Crafting was on the right track but kinda flopped.
it's ehhhhhhhh. played worse, played better.
it's shit
story missions are pretty fun and you actually have to think about what your doing on nightmare which actually makes the game fun but most of the game is a slog characters are good tho
it's shit
SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT
The main problem is the single player mmo design imho. Secondary quests with actual content are non existent and were replaced by huge unpopulated maps with a sort of inner narrative that gets discovered by exploring them. Is not exactly a bad concept, but it can't carry a game by itself.
This the last big RPG released before Witcher 3, and it shows. I don't think (hope) it could be considered acceptable by the standards tw3 set.
The story and lore elements revealed in the game are kino, and the DLC is a big improvement over base game. Gameplay is okay.
it's subjective, enjoy whatever you want, you dont need validation from a bunch of randos on the internet.
but objectively its eehhh lol
It's shit because it shills Christianity just like 100% of jewish media.
