Yeah, agreed. I was thinking about selling my PSP and PSP Go along with all my UMD games since most of the ones I would care about have been ported. Hacked 3DS replaces it for emulating retro consoles for me.
Only thing holding me back is Mega Man Powered Up. To a lesser extent I also like Maverick Hunter X but MM:PU is unique and special. And exclusive to PSP. I know I can just emulate it though. It’s by far my favorite PSP game. I never cared for the PSP library until it came out and caught my interest. Bought one just to play it and Crisis Core, the latter of which is a turd and I will not miss.

Vitas cost more and the Vita library sucks unless you’re into super niche Nip games. All the good stuff you can do with a Vita applies to a PSP and doesn’t involve partial emulation (Vita only has one of the two processors from PSP, second one is emulated).

I love the UMD format. I'm keeping my few physical games. Silent Hill Origins made me buy the system for better or worse.
