How do we fix FF7R?
SE still hasn’t learned their lesson and insist on making linear corridor simulators.
How do we convince them to be more Xenoblade?

the midgar section on the original was also a corridor simulator though
FF7R doesn't need fixing, it was more enjoyable than any other FF game in recent years & had top tier waifus.
Original was a menu simulator but they changed that for the better.
ARPGs are here to stay and so should open world.
The game that became irrelevant after the first week? Ok.
It being linear was so refreshing. Im sick of open world games.
If you want them to make things more like Xenoblade then you should have bought more copies of Xenoblade.
yes, all jrpgs should be button mashers fetch quest simulators, why don't you just play ffxv?
Nothing to fix really. It just a 8/9 game out of 10 that has flaws like any other good game out there but you people still pretend it is a big deal now that 7r has flaws, acting like the original was the perfect game. Game is fun, has good soundtrack, tons of soul, and theres much more to be seen yet.
>why don't you just play ffxv?
because he wants to play something good. Not an unfinished casual pandering mess
Other than linearity, what are these flaws?
Because the battle system was perfect. Tifa is pretty much a Devil May Cry character.
Some story changes and textures, aerial combat, but thats it for me. Other story changes, characters, music and gameplay were pretty good. Aerial combat just need qol changes like zoom out while in the air and some abilities anti air and were fine.
Well....
I don't know how they can do the semi-world feel of the original after Midgar while still retaining the chapters like in Remake.
It's much more open than the original though.
Nintendo!!!
People are still talking about it on Twitter all day long.
>insist on making linear corridor simulators
You never played the original, and it shows...
Tifa was so much fun, cloud too. I just wish it was possible to use abilities in air because air combat is trash.
Blade burst should have been blade beam
I would add that that mod for pc version, would be cool
only the non-existent aerial combat bothered me
first step is the easiest
fpbp
I mean mods are cool and all but square should have thought about that
Casual reminder that FFVIIR was infinitely better than TLOU2
I don’t even like JRPG
can't be fixed as long as Nomura and Toriyama in there.
Imagine being such a cuck you buy half a 20 year old game for full price
Fuckin zoomers man
That's pretty obvious, there's no gameplay or difficulty in tlou2 and the political stuff is simply pathetic.
3, 2, 1 you're not allowed to talk or criticize this game, otherwise you're the boogyman known as barry.
The corridors in the original game don't compare to the cinematic forced walking bullshit in the remake, all the cutscenes interrupting gameplay
All RPGs become irrelevant after you beat them. The genre isn't known for replay value or a dripfeed of "content"
Obsessed samefag
Even though I agree with a lot of the criticisms of Remake, I love Tifa so much that I spend literally every single day on Zig Forums defending it for hours and hours while posting Tifa pics
TLoU2 isn’t a standard for anything. Only the Lügenpresse is defending it, the community knows it’s trash.
midgar was always linear, if the overworld is linear then you can start to worry
This is a false flag by the way for new posters itt
I don't like the story in TLoU2 but the gameplay is unironically the best thing about it
Don't know it's being brought up in a FF7R thread though
But I literally do that though
>tia is fun to play
>tia
See
phew, I'm glad nobody is actually that pathetic
thighsocks are better
