When are people going to admit that AC Odyssey is actually a good assassin's creed game? Pretty much the entire gameplay loop revolves around going to new locations, learning about the area, learning about some tyrant, doing missions and objectives to bring down the power of said tyrant, then assassinating them. Every island and location has their own unique storyline and characters. Additionally, there are plenty of choices you make that can change outcomes letting you truly roleplay as your own character, the game never rewards or punishes you for your choices letting you create your own morals as you see fit and letting you better roleplay the type of character you want >b-but my one hit kills and hidden blade! Doesn't matter, actual stealth and assassination is as varied as it's ever been and majority of the games objectives are about killing targets, you're just given more freedom on how you do this. You can OHK like 80-90% of all targets if you build your characters assassination power up.
I don't know if Valhalla will be good but I have a lot more hope in this franchise than most of you faggots who only look at these games at a surface level and cry they're not real assassin's creed
It has a different feel for sure but at it's core it's about assassination and you have to take your time to actually explore before assassinating but you're giving more freedom than ever in how you approach what areas to go to and how to go about them. You can go full stealth, you can go full warrior, you can mix and match between both as you see fit.

1 had the best atmosphere and "assassin" feel 2 had the best story and characters 4 had boats and shanties RPG elements were a mistake
Where did I say that's bad? It's entirely subjective. Some people liked the focus of the old games, some prefer the new one.

It runs like shit on my 3570k/970 despite Origins being smooth as butter. How is Syndicate? Might pirate that next.

Why do they feel the need to call it Assassin's creed anymore? AC was supposed to be historical Hitman. They should call what they have something else and just open a new franchise. >Historical Adventure series
>ubisoft >microtransactions that ruined the game to the point where the only people enjoying themselves were using cheat engine they get one more chance with Valhalla to make a good Witcher 3 ripoff, and they're going to blow it

Is the story better as the man, or the woman? Which is cannon?
Jace Flores
Literally none of his dreams came true.
Jack Taylor
>Which is cannon? Whichever you pick. If you play the DLC they're both forced into having a kid, despite sexual orientation, so it doesn't fucking matter.
Nathan Martin
>despite sexual orientation Is one of them a gay?

You kind of implied it was bad by pointing it out but yeah don't get me wrong I do thing the old games didn't reach their peak but I find the newer games fun enough that it's hard to care.
>made up bullshit The only microtransactions that have interested me at all are some of the cooler looking cosmetic dlc but i'm not a cuck who pays for that shit.
Jordan Martin
They're whatever you want them to be.

/thread I just cant stand Odyssey. Words to describe it, in my view, are obnoxious and overbloated. Too much decision, too much repeated task, too much brightness and weird colour schemes. The only Ac I will never finish
Odyssey is barely an asscreed game though, it's a fun open world game but the parkour bits are sorely missing and you're encouraged to Spartan it up kicking shitters off cliffs

I didn't say microtransactions don't exist, I said none of them are interesting. There is literally no reason to buy the lootbox microtransactions

Did you not read my OP where I explain what makes it assassin's creed?
