wireless

These are clearly exact equivalents and there are no differences in the technology at all

These are clearly exact equivalents and there are no differences in the technology at all

inflation, enhanced design.

They're around the same price if you adjust for inflation.

Are we pretending wireless tec doesn’t exist? Rechargeable batteries too?

Inflation

I ordered mine July 1 and still hasnt arrived, Amazon has got me used to them fast shipping.

the same technology 30 years later shouldn't cost the same
>""enhanced design""
>muhhh inflation
wireless technology doesn't give the rights to nintendo to double the price over 30 year old technology and design

>how do you defend this Zig Forums?

lets ask mr. inflation calculator....
>$14.99 in 1991 is worth $28.22 today
I believe there is nothing to explain, user. nothing to see here.

It’s literally twice the price you idiot
Defend it

It's gonna be hoarded by scalpers anyway

/thread

$14.99 in 1991 is worth $28.22 today

Then why does nintendo still sell games at 60$? accounting for inflation nintendo games nowdays should cost 120 dollars

>>muh inflation
nice argument faggot

>>muhhh inflation
It's literally almost the exact same price, user.

The original price would be about $14.99 x 1.88 = $28 today. Literally a one dollar difference, woopity fucking doo. Thanks for making a thread about nothing, OP.

Because the first company to start charging more than 60 USD for a standard edition purchase of a game is going to get reeee-ed off the face of the earth.

kek op btfo
it's actually a better deal now since it's wireless
imagine getting this destroyed
COPE BEYOND COPE HAHAHAHAHAHAH

Attached: 1585908555684.png (600x600, 307.51K)

Because the console is now $300+ and more people buy games and can be distributed digitally.

If the inflation meme was true a 60$ dualshock 2 from 200 should cost 90$ euros today but they dont
dualshock 4s with much better technology barely cost more than 50 dollars

plastic has gotten more expensive

Price for making a switch SD card vs SNES Cart?

ARREST YOURSELF AHAHAHAHAHAHAH

I don't really want to defend it but they always can say it's a collectors item.

dualshock 2 didn't cost $60 they were like $40

inflation, wireless.

Isn't there more going on with the wireless and is there more then one dongle?

>Then why does nintendo still sell games at 60$
Did you know that Snoy and Xbox will sell their games at $70 next gen?

Wii classic controllers were expensive as fuck until like five years ago

Wireless, redesigned from the ground up, inflation. It's ten fucking dollars.

uh sweaty the one on the right is clearly superior. it uses high grade plastic which is manufactured in Germany, it has superior nintendo software that can monitor your heatbeat when you're holding the controller, it has memory foam pillows for enhanced dpad performance, it's also completely manufactured from recycled materials, and 60% of profits go to the black lives charity.

aren't those in limited supply? since they weren't the standard controller for the wii, and a newer model was made shortly after (classic controller pro)

NOOOO YOUR SUPPOSED TO MINDLESSLY BASH NINTENDO YOU CANT JUST POINT OUT THAT THE CONTROLLERS REASONABLY PRICED YOU HAVE TO BASH THEM AND BE ANGRY ABOUT IT

inflationcope lmao

It's the same reason why vidya is still $60, they have other income sources to make up for it.

Oh its Canadafag again.

I guess. I remember going into a brick and mortar store in 2012 looking to buy it and they had a clean used one for 80$. I got one two years ago for 20$ online.

>double the price
literally inflation

It's roughly $2 more expensive.

It's probably because the scale of production is orders smaller in this one so production costs are higher and nintendo wants a better profit margin out of it...
People saying inflation are just stupid, the cost of producing electronics have fallen way more than inflation since the 90s

the only good answer in this thread

Inflation

I want to go back, you guys.

Attached: Splatterhouse Flyer.jpg (1203x850, 251.15K)

Given it's near 1:1 the same price with only a 1-2 dollar difference, I think you're the one being stupid my dude.

inflation is a meme

Not the same parts.

Most people will say things but what they really mean is "It's ok when Nintendo does it"
