I bought it. Its ok. The combat is too floaty. Melee is pointless as you get hit no way too easily, there is barely any healing, so you have to sit far away and used ranged. Not enough ammo drops though, so now you have to do your stupid hair dryer forever. Also some of the side things are too long, specifically magma mia

How? I got the game a couple days ago and gotten through the whole thing without any ammo trouble.
Also if you remember enemy health values sometimes it's convenient to finish them with melee.

I can't say I like the art style. Nobeta and her friends are cuter.

I haven't played in a while, but there always was more than enough unless all your guns use same type of ammo.

Melee can be useful for finishing off enemies or killing less threatening ones to save ammo. For enemies with ranged, just time it right and avoid their attacks, nothing in the game so far is hitscan or has attacks that move too fast to dodge.

I thought this at first too then I realized there are 4 different ammo types, and you can carry 5 guns at once. Plus there are ammo expansion upgrades to find in the world.

Got any advice for farming pearls?
I was just thinking of doing runs through old areas to find new stuff since that's also how I get a ton anyways

I don't know if it's the best way to farm them but I do gum gum speedway in chroma falls. It's relatively short, easy, and gets about 100 per run.

The doom outfit was seasonal, like the winter one. The sub zero one is just part of a regular update and won't get patched out. You won't miss out on it.

How many of the secret areas have two crystals?
I've only found the extra in a couple and it makes me super paranoid that i've missed a bunch in other areas, also.
