Compared to the games from 2010-2016, BOTW deserved to win GOTY and the 97 Metascore. Compared to all of the games in history, BOTW does not deserve the insane "GOAT, Top 10 game of all time" praise that it has now since it's not even a top 5 Zelda game

It was fun, so maybe. Its biggest fault lies in the lack of variety. Needs more enemies, interesting locations, dungeons, etc. Despite that, the sandbox-ish combat was cool, and didnt get old during my playthrough.
People who got filtered by the durability system deserve the rope however.
