All the more infuriating is when you realize that the game cost them nearly nothing to make in the scheme of things.
Had they simply made it a "real" game and not the standard mobile game fare, they could have made their money AND made a legitimately lasting impression on the face of mobile gaming forever, which could have potentially had a positive impact on other mobile devs moving forward.
Instead, they chose the money with none of the glory.

It was pretty cool for the first month I would grab my longboard and just cruise through my town then to the beach sit there and listen to music and catch a few mons then ride back. It actually got me laid to cause I met up with a girl that was playing it so that was cool.
I just wish you could battle fucking Pokemon like in the games with actual good turn-based combat or at least do it with the fucking gyms. It just gets so monotonous after a while. It blows my mind that people can still play daily even know. Even the first year came out I only played it for like 2 hours on a fucking saturday the rest of the week I didn't really touch it.
The series is so fucking mainstream now. I really wish they would make the let's go series for the absolute casuals while the main games are more for the veterans more hard core challenging hell a bit darker too that would make me jump back into the series most likely.
But i do have a feeling they will do it one day but no time soon.
The Pokemon franchise has so much potential but I don't think the Pokemon company or game freak is ever going push that full potential (or they will at a snails fucking pace) and once they do hey I'll probably be 60 goddamn years old by the time they finally do. Just got to accept that it's always going to cater to kids first and foremost watered down for
