They're supposed to be your special, personal choice of partner to start your adventure, no wrong answers, but now one of them gets to be Gamefreak's special boy and have their cock sucked endlessly while the others get jackshit. It was more fair when they were picking mascots and legendaries for Smash. Pokemon Trainer is the exception because he uses all three.

You want them to be more varied by having 8 characters that all work the same, making 24 full characters' worth of work. That's incredibly dumb. You've made so many characters with the same main mechanic that even Fire Emblem blushes. You could literally make a new game by just taking those options, and letting a player choose any 3 and it would be considered a full roster for a new fighting series.
